Count on Me Inuyasha

Chapter 8: Absorbed

Kagome POV

Inuyasha's black hair was shining in the light. I slowly held my left shoulder wound to try and stop the bleeding.

"Inuyasha," I sighed.

"Yes? What is it?!

"My yellow bag, bandages...hurry!"

Inuyasha carried me bridal style toward my bag.
Just then, we hear a crack noise.

"Naraku is hatching!'' Miroku screamed.

As Inuyasha had the bandages in his hand, he turned and saw Naraku's new form.
He looked exactly like he use to six years ago, his human self.
I thought he was going to be a giant spider, considering a huge leg just impaled Sesshomaru, Inuyasha, and I.
Inuyasha looked back at me and used his teeth to rip the bandage to wrap around my shoulder.
I slightly nudged in pain as he wrapped it around my shoulder.

"This'll have to do for now," he told me.

He doesn't know the medicines like I do, so I will have to do it myself at some point.
I slowly rose up and smiled at him.

"Kagome, are you alright?" Inuyasha asked.

The others looked over at us.
"Inuyasha, how is Kagome?" Miroku asked.

He turned and yelled,
"She's fine!"

"What a relief," Sango sighed.

"Inuyasha! Your a human!" Shippo screamed.

Inuyasha lifted his hands close to his face,
"M-my claws," Inuyasha stuttered.

How will Inuyasha use Tetsaiga? Not to mention, how can I shoot my bow and arrow?
I looked over at the arrows Shippo and I made, then at the bow.
I walked over and picked up the bow, carrying it on my back.
I used my quiver Kaede gave me to hold the arrows and carried them on my back as well.
Even if it will hurt, now's the time more than ever to take my shot.

Sango POV

I'm glad to see Kagome is doing better, but right now, we need to focus on Naraku!
I raised my Hirakotsu and threw it towards him in a single swoop.
The Hirakotsu glowed in red as it spun around.
When the Hirakotsu got closer to Naraku, it suddenly lost all power and fell to the floor.

"W-what?!" I said aloud.

"Why was the Hirakotsu drained of power?" Miroku questioned.

I saw Sesshomaru charge with his blade at Naraku, with swift moves.
His slashes were elegant as he kept repeatedly cutting in front of him. Naraku kept dodging, despite the fact that Sesshomaru was quick.
I could see him starting to get angry, so he went even faster of a pace.
The blade finally managed to slice him, but it had no effect. The blade didn't even leave a scratch.

"Is he using his Tensaiga or something?" Shippo asked.

"No, that's definitely not Tensaiga, I don't understand why it's not working!" Inuyasha said frustrated.

I looked at Kagome and she had a glare in her eyes that made me feel weak.
I think she is planning to shoot from that sacred bow Kikyo gave her.
"Sesshomaru!" Kagome yelled.

He turned to look briefly and shouted back,
"Speak."

"Move outta the way, I have this!" Kagome cried.

Sesshomaru jumped up and hung in the air, she aimed right for him.

"Naraku! Die!" she exclaimed.

She shot the homemade arrow with the bow as it sparkled with a blue light. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever laid my eyes on.
White spirals swirled around the bow as the arrow was charging toward him.
I know this has to work!
Naraku turned and his eyes widen, he froze, scared of his death.
That's when the arrow shot through his palm.
He lit up like a candle, as he screamed loudly,
