Chapter 10: Portal

Miroku POV

There is no way I could help them, not one bit, at least without putting my life in danger.

"Hey Miroku, won't your sacred sutras work?" Inuyasha asked me.

"I'm afraid they don't, but maybe I can try something" I answered.

Kagome had the arrow in her hand and put it in her quiver.

"When's the sun gonna come up anyway!?" Inuyasha pouted.

Now that I think about it...
"We don't even know the time or how long we've been in here," I told them.

Kagome sighed and dragged her head,
"This is gonna be close," she whispered.

To be honest, I'm sure she must feel more pressure then the rest of us, but I don't blame her.
If you think about it, all our lives, possibly all of the land, is counting on her and that shot.

Sango POV

Every time I tried throwing my Hirakotsu, it always lost power and didn't work. What am I gonna do now?!
Kirara landed on the floor and motioned me to get off.

"Kirara? What are you doing?" I asked her.

She flew in the air without me and rushed toward Naraku.

"No! Kirara stop!" I yelled.

She was able to headbutt Naraku hard, as he fell to the ground.
She started biting at his arm, ripping it off.
Everyone looked at her shocked along with me.

"Did Kirara just..." Miroku trailed off.

"Oh wow," Kagome said.

Sesshomaru joined her and took his Tensaiga, taking his other arm off. He can't regenerate his arms can he? He regained his head after we took it off twice, so we might have not done anything after all.
I suddenly feel a slight breeze as Miroku ran ahead of me holding his sacred sutras.
He swiftly threw them into the arms, as Naraku's body tried to regrow them. The flesh consumed the sutras and his arms grew back, Naraku still on the ground.

"Miroku what did you just try to do?!" I shouted to him.

The monk ran to me and grinned slyly,
"We'll see." he said.

Naraku rose up laughing,
"I can't be stopped!" he exclaimed, his eyes wide like he was losing his mind.

Kirara backed up and took off in the air again.

Naraku was infuriated,
"I'll kill all of you!"

Inuyasha POV

If Naraku thinks he's gonna kill any of us, he's dead wrong.
Naraku glared me down, just now noticing I was a human.

"Inuyasha? So your time is the night with no moon? Pathetic!" he told me.

"Aw shut the hell up and fight me if you wanna!" I said.

"No Inuyasha!" Kagome yelled at me.

Naraku aimed and tried sending a thick vine to pierce Kagome.
I jumped in front of her and next thing I knew, I had a sharp pain in my shoulder, I looked at it and see a giant vines stuck in it.

"Naraku you bastard..." I said at him, yanking the vine out.

At this rate, I might die of blood loss. I fell to my knees holding my wound.

"Inuyasha!" I hear Kagome yell.

"I-it's just a scratch, not gonna die or nothin' " I told her.

She bandaged it up with the remaining bandages she had in her bag.

"Just let me fight him already!" I said.

I stood up and ran toward Naraku without my sword, that still looked like a piece of junk.
