Summary- y/n hasn't been hanging out with Scarlett as much so Scarlett confronts y/n and they spend the rest of the night together and re form a bond together.

Recently y/n hasn't being hanging out with her mum so much. This is all because she's just turned 13 and has started hanging out with her friends more and completely forgetting her and Scarlett's special Friday movie nights and mummy Mondays.
Scarlett was fine with it at first she just thought that you needed space to be a 'proper teenager' but as weeks went by you continued hanging with your friends everyday and didn't even try one time to hang out with your mum.
Today you were going out with your group of friends at your local park.
It was 9am when you woke up by your alarm. Knowing your mum was probably at work you quickly got up, showered, dressed and was out the house before 10.
Scarlett had spent her morning shooting a few scenes for her new movie ' The red room ' but after that she retired home spending the rest of the morning and some of the afternoon replying to emails before heading out her office to be met with y/n who's just got back from the park.
"Hey baby. You hungry?" Scarlett says walking towards you as you look in the fridge for something to eat.
"Hey mom and yes I'm hungry." you say taking a seat at the kitchens island.
"Ok do you want some macaroni and cheese with some hot sauce?" Scarlett asks you getting everything out the cupboard already knowing your answer.
"Yes! Thanks mum." you say before reaching fir your phone in your pocket texting some friends about what you're going to do tomorrow.
Around 30 minutes Scarlett places a bowl of macaroni infront if you before getting her own bowl taking a seat beside you.
"Y/N?" Scarlett says facing you so you'll look up at her.
"Yes?"you reply slowly turning to face your mum who has a unreadable expression on her face.
"Can we talk without you being on your phone for a minute?" Scarlett says hoping you'll say yes.
"Yeah, sure what's up?" you say putting your phone down waiting for her to continue.
"I don't really know how to put this but.. do you not want to hang out with me anymore?" Scarlett asks then looking down in embarrassment.
"I do. Why would you ask that?" you say looking at your mum for a reply.
"It's just we never have our Friday movie nights or Mummy Mondays anymore as your always with your new group of friends." Scarlett says letting out a big sigh watching you tear up.
"I'm so sorry mum, I didn't realise that you felt this way. I was just so exited I got these new friends and wanted to spend lots of time with them."you say hugging your mum tightly letting a single tear fall from your eye.
"That's ok baby I understand, there's no reason to cry." Scarlett says separating the hug wiping your eyes.
"As it's Friday can we have our movie night and watch The parent trap?" You ask knowing this was yours and Scarlett's favourite movie to watch together.
"Of course sweetheart but I haven't got any snacks so do you want to get your shoes and come to the shops with me?" Scarlett asks you before grabbing her purse and keys.
"Yes!"you exclaim jumping up from your seat running to the front door to grab your shoes.
You and Scarlett are in the talking to each other and listening to music.
"Mum can we have our song?" you say looking over to your mum who's concentrating driving.
"Yes of course darling put it on!" Scarlett exclaims waiting for you to put it on.
You put on your guys's special song and begin singing it together.
So, bye-bye Miss American Pie
Drove my Chevy to the levee,but the levee was dry

When you both arrive at the shops. You both grab a trolley/cart before heading to the snack aisle.
"Y/N don't grab to much ok I'm just going to look at the books. Okay?" Scarlett says kissing you on the forehead before walking off leaving you to shop.
Not listening to Scarlett's words you grab every snack you and Scarlett love including a few extras before meeting your mum at the book section seeing her with a handful of books.
"Y/N that's loads of snacks, we don't need that many!"Scarlett says placing the books in the cart.
"I'm sorry but there all our favourites and I couldn't decide!" You say looking at Scarlett's face.
"It's fine baby. Do you want any books?"Scarlett says looking at you as your face slowly beams with joy.
"Yes please! How many can I get?"you say quickly looking at all the options.
"You can have 5 like me." Scarlett says standing watching you picking up books before you both agreed on 7 as you couldn't pick just 5.
After you both checkout at the till you both head to the car loading the boot/trunk before heading into the car to go home.
At home you both rush inside emptying all your items onto the counter. You both quickly grab you books heading upstairs putting them into your guys's library at each others sections before heading downstairs after you both changed into your pyjamas and grabbing blankets.
In the cinema room you both lay down snuggling up to each other before turning on the movie and eating some snacks. Around an hour later you fall asleep on Scarlett's lap.
Scarlett carefully lifts you up after turning off the movie heading upstairs to your bedroom.
In your bedroom Scarlett carefully places you down in your bed tucking you in before stroking your hair and kissing your head.
"Stay. Please?" you whisper stirring in your sleep.
"Of course my angel." Scarlett says slipping into your bed snuggling up next to you.
"I love you baby, so much." Scarlett says looking down at you.
"Love you too mama." you say pushing your head into her stomach before falling asleep.
It was safe to say you guys had your special mother daughter bond back. For good this time.
