Chapter 5

Lukas POV

"Do you want to sleep with me?" I asked August.

"Yes," was an immediate answer.

I nod, my cheeks becoming warm. We both tucked in for the night, he fell asleep fast. 

I felt his muscular arms wrap around my waist.

"Ngh-" I became beet red. 

August is too cute. Just like that, I fell asleep.

August POV

Fluttering my eyes open to see Luka right in front of me. 

Am I dreaming?

He clutched onto my shirt. I want to live in this moment forever. My lips touched his forehead, then crashed against his lips. 

I'm so greedy.

I got up, got clothed, and started to cook breakfast for us.

Lukas POV

Did he just kiss me? I must be dreaming. Ahhhhhh!!! My insides are butterflies. My heart won't stop beating for him.

I walk outside to the kitchen.

"Good morning," I said.

"Good morning~ come eat, I made breakfast."

Then there was a knock at the door.

August POV

"Coming!"

"Oh. Hi Lawrence!"

"Have you seen Lukas? I went to his house but he didn't answer his door. I'm worried."

"Yeah, he's inside eating," Lawrence pushed past me.

"Lukas?"

"Oh, good morning Lawrence!"

"Can we talk for a moment?"

"Sure," He pulls Luka away to my room.

Lukas POV

"Why're you here Lukas?"

"I spent the night after hanging out with him."

"Really?"

"No... I- uh got attacked on the way back home last night and he helped me."

"Oh god," He panted anxiously, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm better now," He hugged me.

"Whenever you want we'll leave for the test, okay?"

"Let's go now then. I have a date with August later," I say while blushing with a big smile.

"Haha that's good," We left for the nearest pharmacy. 

I said goodbye to August for now.

"Here we are," Lawrence said. "You okay? We don't have to go in right away."

"No, I don't want to be scared anymore."

We went in to buy pregnancy tests from a few brands.

"Are you two expecting?" A nearby old lady asks.

"No, we're friends. The father doesn't know," I chuckled.

"Oh dear, it'll be okay. Have a good day," She parted ways with us.

"Hahaa~" Lawrence laughed. It was amusing, "You ready?"

"Yes!"

I entered the nearest public bathroom and took the test. I waited a few minutes. It feels like no time is passing by. Then I hear a beep, two lines showed up.
