Lukas POV

[August: I'll pick you up at your house around 2pm.]

(Lukas: Okay. Where are we going today?)

[August: It's a surprise.]

I laughed. That's so like him. Unexpectedly I got a call from work.

"Yes. This is Lukas Williams"

"Sorry but we need you to come back in today. I know it's your first day off in a while."

"Uh okay" I'm a little mad because today I'm going to meet August. Our time together. I hanged up.

(Lukas: Sorry. I was called into work. I probably won't get off till late.) I texted him, disappointed.

[August: It's okay. I'll still wait for you, plus we can have as many dates whenever :)]

I can tell he is also disappointed.

(Lukas: Okay. Thank you.)

I went off to work.

-at the cafe-

It's usually never this busy. I understand why I was called in. I looked at the clock on the wall, it was 1:27pm. It was soon time for our date.

I glanced back at the clock. It was now 3pm. It wasn't as busy anymore.

"Boss, can I leave early?"

"Why you got a date?" She joked. I stayed silent. "Yeah. Go ahead. But who's the lucky man?" She chuckled.

"Um.. a close friend" I say shyly. "Thank you, boss" I went to go change.

[Calling: August]

"August. Where are you? I'll meet you"

"I'm at the xxx amusement park"

"Ah. I'll meet you there!" I say with excitement.

"You got off early" He said.

"Yeah, it wasn't as busy as it was in the morning"

"I can't wait to see you" He said with a sultry voice.

"Y-you to- o" I say embarrassed. I hanged up.

I walked towards the front of the amusement park. I saw August. He looked calm. He must've smelt me or something. I saw his eyes look at me.

"Luka" He said.

"August" I say hugging him.

"I got something for you. But it can wait. Let's go have fun"

"Mn!" I nod.

We went on many different rides and had burgers for dinner. We took a few breaks as to not overexhaust myself. It became dark before we knew it.

"The stars are beautiful" I say looking up.

"Yeah. It's so open here, you can see so many stars" He repiled. "There was one last ride I want to go on with you"

"Okay" I smile.

The ferris wheel. He's too cute sometimes.

"Let me guess. If we go on the ferris wheel, it'll make us stay together forever. Haha" I joked.

"Hahaa. I just want to be with you more" He repiled.

"Same"
