"UGH, THAT FACE MASK IS DOING WONDERS TO YOUR SKIN." Klaus gushed, spinning around happily.

She grinned, staring at her reflection in the mirror of Klaus' prestigious bathroom. The mansion was astounding, her jaw dropping when he had walked her through it. After a relaxing rose-petal bath, Klaus had insisted on face masks. A cigarette dangled between his lips as they reclined back on the silk sheets of his bed. "My skin needs wonders." she chuckled. "All this stress ruins any natural beauty."

"Yeah. Stress follows us everywhere." he groaned. "I still can't believe you possessed me." he said to the air. "Not cool."

"I can't believe your siblings didn't do anything." she grumbled, her face mask cracking slightly as her face contorted in annoyance. She still harbored anger at the situation but mainly, she was glad Klaus was okay.

His head lolled dramatically. "I'm used to it."

"You shouldn't be."

"My siblings have a fucked up way of showing love." he murmured, cradling a pillow in his arms before turning over to her with a grin. "Like Five and his absurd love for giving you water."

Charlotte groaned and Klaus shook her lightly. "Come on, Charlie." he paused and she furrowed her brows. "Ooh, new fun nickname. Oh my god, like Charlie's angels, ugh adorable. Anyway, we've got to talk about it." he pleads.

"I'm mad at him right now so you won't be getting much positivity." she drawled, picking at her nails.

"We're all mad at him but you're the only one who will get through to him." he sang, poking at her cheeks which she was thankful were covered heavily with masks.

"To be fair, I yell at him." she reasoned, remembering many of their previous arguments and the lack of "calm" communication.

"So do I!" Klaus exclaims, finishing off his cigarette. "But whenever I do it he tells me to go die in a hole somewhere."

Charlotte sighs, heading to the bathroom to wash the mask off her face. She wasn't in the mood to talk about her emotions but then again, when was she ever? Klaus grumbled from behind her, removing his hair from the curling rods. "You should tell him how you feel. He likes you a lot."

"I wasn't sure he was capable of liking anyone." she joked, taking a mint off the counter and popping it into her mouth.

"Me too. Guess you're that awesome." Klaus smiled, splashing water everywhere as he made to wipe off his face mask. She laughed as some splashed on her skin. "Ben agrees with me but he doesn't like me bothering you about it but I'd like to just put it out there that he agrees with me so that we make it clear."

Charlotte grinned. "Ben seems a lot better at this than you. Maybe I'd listen to him."

Klaus refused to play her game, instead talking amongst the air. "Ben would like me to tell you that you deserve to be happy and more cups of water. Hydration is key." he pointed out. "And if our brother was an idiot and treated you wrong then I would let Ben possess me so that he could beat the shit out of him."

"The support is uncanny." she replied happily, walking arm in arm with Klaus to her (as he had put it) "Buckingham Palace-esque" bedroom, stepping over snoozing cult members in their trek.

She was woken at two thirty in the morning by a sound right beside her window.

Quickly, her pillow had once again morphed into a knife and she let out a sigh of relief but also one of anger as she recognized the familiar knee high socks at her window pane. "Here to scare more souls to death, Romeo?"
