Just two weeks before Christmas. Arizona for one wanted to see her daughter for the holidays. But she knew she had to contact Callie in the process, and possibly tell her about the centuries-ago car crash and more importantly, her and Meredith.

"Hey, what are you staring at? Not so bright today aren't we." Amelia said as she chewed on her food.

Alex shrugged and Arizona drown in her thoughts.

"Maybe she's thinking of Sofia," April said, leaning closer to Amelia. Meredith looked up from her tray.

"I am." Arizona sucked-out of her daydream. April nodded licking her lips, she knew her sister well.

"I want to see her," she sighed.

"Then, see her I don't see the problem," Maggie said nonchalant.

Everybody at the table except Arizona shot her a look, "Okay... maybe there is a problem?"

"Of course there is, I don't Arizona has been in contact with Callie... since she left."

"WAIT," Maggie realized. Her eyes widened, "So Callie doesn't know Arizona got into a car crash! And she almost died, oh my God, what- how."

Arizona glances at Maggie, "It just felt easier to do that. She cut me off, so I cut her off. But now I guess... I have to talk to her if I want to see Sofia."

There was a hint of misery in voice.

"I'll help," Alex says stern.

Meredith's brows rose, "Yeah, we'll all help."

In the middle of the night, while Arizona and Meredith were sound asleep, a phone goes off.

"What the hell," Arizona mutters.

"Mm, is it mine?" Meredith looks over to the drawer beside their bed, the blond lays comfy again when she saw it wasn't.

"I'll take it outside," Arizona kissed Meredith's forehead.

She did as she said. The name of the caller shocked her for a second, the blond thought she was dreaming at first. But Arizona answered through and through.

"Hello? Callie?" she said.

"Arizona, I have to talk with you." Callie said on the line and Arizona felt the urgency in her voice.

Fully awake she said, "In the middle of the night? What is it?"

"Sofia... she's..."

Arizona gulped hearing Sofia's name said in uncertainty.

"What? What, Callie?" she replied abrupt.

"She collapsed."

"Mer! Mer, Mer!" Arizona shook Meredith in bed. Tears flowing down her face, the half-asleep blond even felt some land on her.

"Arizona? Are you crying? What happened, who was that?" she sat up, and quickly caressed Arizona's arms.

"It's Sofia, Callie said she collapsed." she said through the tears.

"W-why?"

"I don't know... I just said I'll be right over and- and ended the call. I didn't think."

Meredith sighed, "I'll come with you. We'll go the first thing tomorrow, okay? Don't cry, she'll be alright."

The worried blond wiped tears that started to stroll down Arizona's cheek. She couldn't help but feel hurt seeing Arizona hurt.

A small thank you was all Arizona could reply.

"I'll be the one to contact Callie... through your phone I guess, because she doesn't know about us yet. I'll ask for the charts and monitors and everything, don't worry." Meredith said, Arizona nodded.

"Come sit down, I'll just get my laptop to book our flight. I'll get you water, anything else you need from downstairs?" she asked once the door swung open. Arizona shook head quietly.

Arizona felt how lucky she was to have her... Meredith.

Two flights to New York: booked.

Meredith did chat Callie through Arizona's phone, pretending be the blond. It was the easiest way to access Sofia's track record. They found out Sofia hasn't been getting enough sleep, but they don't know exactly why. Arizona told Mer to type some things and Mer proceeded knowing Arizona knew best as she was the peds surgeon between them.

Once done, Meredith sighed. She closed her laptop and looked beside Arizona who had her eyes closed, trying to stop the tears.

"Hey, hey, it will be alright." whispered Meredith. Her arms reached to wrap around the blond, giving her piece of her warmth.

Arizona couldn't help but chuckle, her eyes didn't shoot open though. "I'm a peds. surgeon and I can't be there for my seven year old daughter when she needs it."

Meredith hushed her and continued caressing Arizona's back, "It will be okay. I promise. I will do everything I can. WE will do everything we can. You're Dr. Arizona freaking Robbins, one of the best peds surgeons of the country, Sofia will be alright. It will all be alright."

"Mm," Arizona hummed in response, still eyes sealed shut. "I know it will, as long as you're here."
