TW: homophobic slurs
It's no secret that Bakugo struggled with his emotions, he knew he was gay.
Ever since he'd seen the red head for the first time.
He's just too embarrassed about it for people to know.
"We're all somewhat gay" Mina said laughing at Kaminari
He nodded and smiled "Yeah that's fair, I'm only half gay though" To which Sero laughed to himself
Bakugo's face flushed with embarrassment, they were just openly talking about this in a crowed cafeteria "I'm not fucking gay" He growled at the others
Which earned a laugh for Kirishima "Bro" he looked at the other boy trying to disguise the frown which was forming.
You told me you liked me
Bakugo walked out, Sero turned to the other's "Maybe he's not actually gay, we're wrong to assume" Kirishima looked at the rest of the Bakusquad shaking his head
"he is, atleast a little bit" He argued before running out after the ash blonde. The rest of the bakusquad followed behind.
He found him sat in the empty classroom "What is it with you and lying to yourself" Kirishima said softly as he walked into the room
Bakugo looked up and saw the boy he'd let himself fall for "Shitty hair, Don't make me blast you" Kirishima walked towards him
"Bakugo you told me you liked me, I'm a dude. I understand you were uncomfortable and we shouldn't have been that loud and I'm sorry we made you uncomfortable" Bakugo stood up, eyeing the people standing outside
"Well I lied Kirishima, I'm not a fucking faggot I like girls" He couldn't stop the words rolling out and as soon as they did he regretted them. Kirishima didn't hide the horrified expression that fell on his face
"Fag- YOU HAVE TO BE FUCKING JOKING ME. WHY IS IT SO HARD FOR YOU TO ADMIT YOUR FEELINGS" Kirishima felt his eyes well up "what about all those times we spent in your dorm" Bakugo rolled his eyes
"You're delusional, your so fucking obsessed with me" Kirishima laughed bitterly shakin his head
He marched towards Bakugo "and you were obsessed with me enough to kiss me, weren't you Katsuki" Bakugo growled as he heard gasps of the other classmates which flooded into the room "What does that make you?"
Sero grabbed Bakugo along with Kaminari and Mina grabbed Kirishima "You're fucking dead, you got that" he growled
Kirishima looked Bakugo dead in the eyes, tears rolling down "it was fun while it lasted and I did really like you. I thought you felt the same but I'm guess I'm just a idiot" Bakugo went silent "I guess you just felt superior knowing that I was so loyal and I would do anything for you but guess what Bakugo" The ash blonde flinched at the use of his name "You can finally learn what it's like to be alone, to be lonely because I'm done"
He turned through the door to leave "but if you decide that you want to be honest with who you are, I'll wait for you" He faced him again "And I hate myself for it"
Bakugo let himself slide down the wall "You called him a faggot? What do you expect him to do Baku" Mina scolded the ash blonde
Kaminari glared at him "You are one of my best friends but I want to hit you so bad if you don't fix this. I can't believe after kissing him and saying you liked him you say you never liked him"
Bakugo got up and stormed out, he found himself up on the school roof, he knew nobody really came up here so he let his emotions out "Fuck" he muttered before he let the tears out
Class 1a were sat in the classroom listening to the lecture from Aizawa when they heard the scream from Bakugo and his explosion. Kirishima lifted his head up from the desk and smiled sadly "Mr Aizawa I'll go check on him" he stood up, the teacher nodded
He walked at first and then he ran "So you do care" he said as he leant against the doorway to the rooftop. Bakugo looked over his eyes wide
His eyes furrowed "why are you here" he asked slightly more aggressively than he meant. Kirishima rolled his eyes.
"I came to check up on you, we all heard you I needed to see that you were okay" He walked over at sat next to the ash blonde
Bakugo laughed a little "After everything I just did, and said to you?" Kirishima frowned
"Yeah I don't know either but I still care about you and that's not going away so here I am, are you okay?" He rambled, tilting his head at Bakugo
The other boy rolled his eyes smirking "So much for teaching me what it's like to me lonely and alone" A hard glare fell upon him when he said that
"Don't fucking push it Katsuki, I'm still fucking heartbroken that you're a coward and won't admit how you feel but if you're hurting I can't ignore that aswell" Kirishima spoke bitterly, the usual enthusiasm drained from his voice. Caring was hurting him a lot today.
Bakugo looked to the ground, then back up at Kirishima. The boy was staring at him emotionless, he looked so tired of everything "Ei" he whispered softly, the boy looked up at him
He sat down next to him "I'm so fucking sorry, I mean it I am" The red head put his head on the other boys shoulder "I like you, I wasn't lying I really fucking like you and I know one day I'll fall in love with you" His whole face turned red as he stared at his hands " This whole thing is so fucking cheesy and I hate it but you deserve to hear it, I mean everything I said and I want to be with you"
"I want to be with you to, i know we're going to be in love some day and It'll be amazing" Kirishima got up and held his had out to Bakugo.
They walked back to class hand in hand, the class erupted in cheers.
