Chapter Ten, Girl's Night Out

"Sweetheart," Cora said softly, entering Jayden's room to see Margot still sat upon the floor playing with her son. "Don't you think you should get ready for your night out with the girls?"
"I don't know if I can go Mum." Margot said in a small voice.
"Oh baby," Cora sighed sadly, pulling her daughter into her arms and Jayden to scowl at her as she interrupted their playtime. "I promise you nothing is going to happen to you. Neither the girls, Eva Greene, or Esme and Claire Cullen will let anything happen to you or each other. You deserve a break, Marlie, and I know going out with the girls you'll not only enjoy it but it'll be good for you." Margot looked back at her baby smiling when he smiled at her.
"Okay." Margot sighed, after a moment thinking it over. "I'll give it a go." She added.

"That's my brave girl." Cora said happily, kissing her daughter's forehead. "I'm proud of you. Now, I'll play with my grandson while you go get ready." She insisted, taking the train off of Margot to play with Jayden. After giving Jayden a kiss and a hug, Margot went to have a quick shower. Once she was out she decided on black skinny jeans, a white blouse, a pink blazer, nude Court heels and a black handbag to match. Working on her hair, Margot decided on a half-up half-down style before finally applying pink-silver eyeshadow, winged black eyeliner, black mascara and pink lipstick. She had only just finished applying her makeup when she heard Leah, Cara, Emily and Kim arrive. Eva would be travelling with Esme and Claire and they would meet up outside the nail salon in Port Angeles.
"Margot, the girls are here!" Jamie shouted up the stairs to his daughter.
"Coming Dad!" Margot shouted, double checking her bag before leaving her room, and heading downstairs.

"We can go shop at my boutique, 'Sunshine Boutique' if you want? There's some new clothes that have come in that will suit you perfectly, Marlie and some baby clothes that will make Jay look even cuter than he already is." Kim exclaimed, pretending to eat his foot making Jayden laugh.
"Mama. Mama. Mama." Jayden cried in between his laughter, reaching for Margot just as Paul exited the house.
"Don't worry baby, Mama will rescue you from Auntie Kim." Margot laughed, scooping her son out of Leah's and Kim's clutches. Paul laughed, kissing Margot on the head causing her to smile up at him. He was so happy to see his twin relaxed and happy around her friends instead of just around him.

"Here Marlie." Jamie said, pulling a $100 out of his wallet and giving it to Margot. "I want you to treat yourself and Jay from me. You've been so stressed because of everything lately, it's so good to see you happy and smile around someone other than your son and brother. And you deserve it, you're an amazing mother." Jamie said passionately, speaking over his daughter's protests.

"Dad, thank you but I can't take this," Margot protested shocked.
"And I want to treat you, by you treating yourself, and my grandson. You have been through so much and have come out stronger, you deserve this. I am so proud of you." Jamie argued gently. Tears in her eyes slightly she slipped the money into her purse and hugged her Dad tightly.
"Thank you." Margot whispered, against his chest.
"You don't have to thank me, just have fun with your friends, sweetheart." Jamie said firmly, before kissing Margot's head. "I love you, my sweet girl."
"I love you too, Dad." Margot said happily. Her friends watched on with a happy smile. Leah, Cara, Kim and Emily had been worried about Margot but they were glad to see her smiling and relaxing more.

They bid goodbye to Paul, Jayden and Margot's parents while heading to the Impala.
"Let's get this girls day started." Margot said excitedly. The first stop in Port Angeles was the nail salon where they met Esme, Claire and Eva outside.
"Hi Eva, Claire and Esme. It's nice to see you in person." Margot said kindly.
"It's nice to meet you too, Margot." Esme beamed, kindness and love exuding from her very being.
"Girls, this Eva who I work with at Forks High and my friend; Claire Cullen and Esme Cullen. Eva, Claire, Esme, these are my best friends: Leah Clearwater, Cara Call, Kim Connweller and Emily Young." Margot introduced.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, girls." Esme said happily shaking their hands, followed by Claire and Eva.
"Likewise." Emily replied kindly. "Claire, thank you so much for helping Margot."
"You don't have to thank me, I'm just glad he's gone for good." Claire protested, a minute growl to her voice at the mention of that scumbag, that only Esme, Margot and Cara heard.
"What's the plan for the day?" Eva asked excitedly, and so happy Margot invited her. She didn't care that she was the 'oldest' (that's what she thought), she was glad that Margot was relaxed enough around her.
"Get our nails done and then shop in mine and my mum's store, 'Sunshine Boutique' and then others if we'd want." Kim explained.

"Okay, but I have an idea to go for afterwards." Eva agreed, a smirk upon her lips.
"Oh, Alice and Rose are going to be so jealous." Claire said with an evil smirk as they entered the nail salon. "They're shop-a-holics and have wanted to shop there for ages."
All of them had matching or similar style nails. Leah's nails were done in a beautiful matte purple coffin style. Cara got her nails done in a peach and white marble effect with a flower gem style added to one of the peach nails, Emily got her nails done in a rose pink with gems added. Margot's nails were done in glittery white, nude, darker nude and rose pink. Kim and Eva had matching nails to Cara but Kim's were plain peach and white marble whereas Eva's were plain purple and white marble.

And finally Esme's nails were plain pink and Clare's were pink, burgundy and glittery burgundy. As soon as Esme and Claire were done they couldn't help but take a picture of all of them together and in their separate colours. They were excited; it was their first time being back together, out shopping after what happened. Eva's idea turned out to be Victoria Secret, buying sexy underwear and lingerie. Some of the girls couldn't help a small blush make its way to their cheeks as they went to the check out with baskets full of lingerie and underwear sets.
"See, I told you, you would find something. Besides, you don't need a man or a woman to treat yourself to sexy underwear and lingerie but it does come in handy to already have when you do have one." Eva told them with a wink, making them all laugh.

It had been a really good day and they'd all had a lot of fun, and it helped Margot to relax and lower her anxiety about going out into Port Angeles again. She couldn't help but be thankful for her amazing friends. Exhausted and laden down with over a dozen bags each they returned home for some rest.
