Not all the deceased were buried. Not all of them were burned either.
Isaac's body was one of them that was ignored and pushed off to a place in the forest that no one bothered with. No one cared for him, and his family had fled or had been killed.
As the wolves packed and planned for their move two sinister beings came upon his body.
A large minotaur drawn by the blood stepped out of the forest.
The large minotaur had more features of a bull than a man except for his torso area. He was one of them that took more to the bull features. He carried a large axe with him as he walked to where the body laid.
Isaac's body had begun decomposing. The minotaur walked up to it and looked at the dead male human before he whistled.
Then out crawled the even sinister being.
It was long and grey and moved on all fours. They were ugly until they got themselves a victim and very cowardly unless they had another creature to hide behind. They didn't mind taken already dead victims either.
The minotaur motioned over to the dead man and the creature crawled over to it before grabbing the corpse by its hair. The minotaur looked away as its 'friend' did its job.
While he knew teaming up with it gave him benefits, he still remained disgusted. He preferred just killing.
"Much better." An unfamiliar voice came from behind the minotaur.
The minotaur turned around and grinned at the sight.
His ally stood there now in the form of the corpse without injuries.
"Does it remember anything?" The minotaur asked.
'Isaac' paused in thought before a sinister grin spread across his face. Excitement rushed into the minotaur.
"The humans tried to overthrow the pesky mutts; this one was killed by the leader himself and got killed for his troubles." 'Isaac' answered and the minotaur grinned.
"You think they are weak now?" The minotaur asked.
"Only one way to find out."
