Brian woke up the next morning when all three cats starting walking atop of him obviously wanting to be fed.

"Alright alright." He huffed pulling himself up from bed.

He slipped on one of his robes and his slippers before heading downstairs. He ran his fingers through his hair to try and fix the mess of bed head that he was sure was there.

Just when he finished filling up each of their bowls a loud pounding in his door caught his attention. He was still attempting to wake himself up and whoever was knocking on his door so early was not helping his mood. He shuffled to the front door, unlocked it and opened it revealing an impatient looking Sal.

"Sal? What the hell are you doing here so early?" Q asked stepping aside and letting him in the house.

Sal walked inside but didn't go far before turning and facing his friend.

"What am I doing here?" He repeated. "Oh I don't know. Maybe because my best friend texts me and says he's falling in love with our other best friend and then disappears for the rest of the night!" He ranted sarcastically.

Q shut the door and slumped his shoulders. He almost forgot about last night. He ran his hands over his face before running them through his thick hair.

"I don't know what's wrong with me, Sal." Q sighed tilting his head back and trying to find the right words he was looking for. "It's like this switch just flipped inside me."

"What the fuck happened last night?" Sal asked taking a seat at the kitchen island.

Q followed and sat across from him dropping his head in his palms once again.

"I showed up at her house to pick her up for the banquet. And when I saw her she just...she was so fucking beautiful. I mean she's always been gorgeous but last night...holy shit. I looked at her in a way a best friend shouldn't." Q went on, glancing up and noticing Sal listening intently. "Then later in the night we went up to the hotel roof for some air. And we had this moment standing there together where I felt things I hadn't felt for anyone in a very long time. Possibly ever."

Sal stared at his best friend for a second and realized it wasn't a joke. He was completely serious.

"Oh fuck. You really think you're falling in love with JJ." Sal muttered, placing his hand over his mouth and trying to find the right words to say.

"Yup." Q nodded not really believing the situation he found himself in.

A week later the guys were sitting around set waiting for the next round of shooting to begin. Q sat on his phone smiling as he exchanged multiple texts with JJ about hanging out later that night.

What Brian had hoped to be just a phase was increasingly becoming a reality as he found himself falling for his best friend more and more with every day that passed. He noticed things about her that he never bothered to acknowledge when he simply saw her as just his best friend.

Sal was still the only person who knew about his new found emotions but he knew it wouldn't stay that way for long. If he continued down the road he was currently on he knew he'd have to tell the other two sitting next to him. It was inevitable.

"What are you smiling about?" Joe suddenly asked, noticing the smirk on his friend's face.

"Huh?" Q snapped out of it, realizing Joe was now talking to him.

"You've been lost in your own little world for the past five minutes. Who are you talking to?" Joe chuckled at his obliviousness.

"JJ." He answered.
