3 Years Later. Willow's POV

I watched as Eomwill brandished a wooden sword at his father's legs. Eomer picked up another wooden sword and knelt down to his level to duel with him. Eomwill tripped on his stubby little legs and Eomer picked him up and rested him gently on his hip stroking his blond curls.
Eomer placed a gentle hand on my stomach.
"Feels like a girl." He informed me.
"How do you know?" I asked
"No idea! But it feels like it!" He laughed. Eomwill copied his laugh and smiled cheekily at me. I placed a hand on his cheek and taking him from Eomer.
"I think it's time for you to go to bed," I told him.
"No!" He howled in protest.
"He's a fighter." Said Eomer proudly.
"Yeah, I'm a fighter!" He yelled sloppily.
"Fighters need rest too." Said a voice behind me.
"Thank you, Mindy," I said happily.
"C'mon fighter, let's run you a bath." She said bending down and holding his hand to guide him away.
I smiled softly and wondered what Nathalia would be doing right now. When Eomwill was born Eowyn and Faramir visited with their child Elboron. She met a guard and fell hopelessly for him. He seemed like a decent man and Nathalia spent all her time while he was there with him. When he had to depart though she was torn. Eventually, she decided to leave. Last I heard she had started educating young women on how to be healers in Minas Tirith.  Her letters were happy but she was unable to bear children which hurt her a lot. She said she would visit when she could which both Mindy and I looked forward to. Mindy stayed unmarried but continued to work in the Golden Hall and helped me raise Eomwill. I was glad for her company after Nathalia left, she was just as sad as me. I often wondered if she was lonely but she never let it on. Eomer interrupted my thoughts,
"Tomorrow I am going to Dunharrow. Would you like to accompany me?"
"Of course. I want to check on the healers." I had set up a group of women all across Rohan to heal and teach and the system had worked incredibly well. I had no one to treat anymore but I focus on spending more time with Eomer and Eomwill and soon my daughter. Once I would have used healing as a way to distract myself from the world crashing around me but now, the crashing was softer and I was better at facing it. I was stronger, harder, and braver.

I was the Queen of the Rohirrim.
