Chapter 21 - Check Up

I was discharged a couple more days later. Dr Otogi removed my stitches and changed my dressing one last time, and he gave me a new shirt to replace the one that had to be cut up. Seitarou came and took me back to my cell.

Nico: "Look, Jinx's back!"

Rock: "Alright! You doing well, kid?"

I nodded.

Uno: "How's the cut?"

Jinx: "It finally closed but Dr Otogi told me to take it easy."

We sat on the floor and talked for a while before the door opened. We spin around.

Kenshirou: "Pay attention please, inmates. My name is Kenshirou Yozakura. I'm you're new supervisor."

Jinx, Uno, Nico & Rock: "WHAAAAAATTTT?!?!?!?"

Kenshirou: "Hajime has been suspended for three days as punishment for his actions at the new year's tournament. The Warden has instructed myself and the other supervisors to take turns being building 13's supervisor until Hajime returns."

Rock: "Oh, well if it's just for three days, that'll be fine."

Nico: "I can't believe Hajime got suspended."

Uno: "Serves him right, the bastard."

Jinx: "Yeah. Stupid Hajime..."

Kenshirou: "Now let's take a look at today's schedule... Number 25's medical appointment. Right, come with me, 25."

Nico: "Kay!"

Rock, Uno and I follow them.

Kenshirou: "Hey! This is 25's regular check up! If you're having medical troubles, you can schedule your own!"

Uno: "Stop worrying man. We're just walking along."

Rock: "Not to compare you two, but it didn't scare Hajime."

Jinx: "I go where my brothers go."

Nico: "They're my emotional support group."

We arrived at the infirmary.

Kenshirou: "Dr Otogi, I have brought inmate number 25 from building 13, cell 13."

Dr Otogi: "Fine, I'll be with him in a minute or two."

The four of us were surprised to see Trios and Honey.

Nico: "Hey, you're those pretty boys who lost to Uno in the tournament, aren't ya?"

Uno: "Oh yeah, the guys I mopped the floor with."

Uno and I giggled.

Honey: "Keep laughing and I'll knock your teeth out!!"

Rock: "Wait, why are you two in the infirmary?"

Trios: "The injuries we sustained from playing Hyakunin Isshu in the tournament haven't been healing well."

Jinx: "You got injured... from a card game?"

Trios: "It's bad. Take a look."

Trios held a microscope up to his finger.

Rock: "I think I see it."

Nico: "How many millimetres long do you think?"

Uno: "Is there a smaller unit?"
