"Hey." Annika cheerfully said.
"Hey." Shivaay greeted back, on the line.
"Why do you sound so low?" Annika questioned. "Are you okay?"
"Yeah, missing you." Annika heard Shivaay sigh, and she wondered if there was more.
"I miss you too. Come back soon." Annika admitted. She missed her husband so much, and this business trip was giving her so many bad vibes.
Her chand bracelet broke on top of that.
"I love you, Shivaay." Annika said.
"I love you too, baby." Shivaay cut the call after muttering a disoriented 'bye'.
15 days later, she saw a sight she never wanted to relive again:
Shivaay was standing at the threshold of Oberoi Mansion with another woman whom he claimed to the family as his saviour and wife in an accident.

"Do I look nice?" Annika asked, as she stepped out of the room and wrapped her arm around her husband's.
"Perfect." Shivaay gleamed at how beautiful she looked, and how the necklace set got prettier by being on Annika.
"Thank God, we were not late." She glanced downstairs and saw everyone relaxing quietly before the house was swarmed with guests.
"I was quick." Shivaay muttered, proud of his pleasurable abilities and being able to keep time in mind.
Annika shied a bit, even though she agreed.
They did some unspeakable things to each other on the bed, and then they took a quick shower together which on the whole was another topic, managed to iron their clothes, and dress as impeccably as they can.
"Bhaiyya, bhabhi, aagaye." Rudra relaxed back, and Bhavya playfully slapped his shoulder.
"We were waiting for you guys." Om said, smiling.
"Please, there is a bit of time left." Shivaay checked his watch.
"Waise, Khannaji, kaha hain aap?" Annika called for the man.
Khanna arrived as soon as the pukaar came, and Annika smiled widely, "Shivaay, greet your first love properly."
Shivaay looked at his wife in pure disbelief.
"Sir." Khanna rejoiced and hugged his boss, while the youngsters in the household fell into sound laughter at the sight.
"Get off me, Khanna."
"Sorry, I could not stop myself." The security officer and right hand of Shivaay Singh Oberoi sighed. "I missed you, sir."
Shivaay did not reply, so Annika did. "He did too. Har roz, khanna, khanna karte rehte the."
"Get to work, Khanna." That was the best Shivaay could do, and the man understood that.
