Fifty-six

I'm so sorry for the long wait, but everything has been a hazzle lately, and I haven't been satisfied with my writings lately. 

But, here is a new update, I will update the other chapters soon too.

"I will gut to the chase, and just say it. I know it is you guys who have been killing our elders."

Silence falls on to the living room after Alpha Kim's words. It is Yoongi, who breaks the silence. "And what if we have been? What you are going to do about it?" 

Beta's face is challenging, when he looks over the former alpha. Hoseok takes a tighter hold on to his mates hand, being a little scared of the situation they are in. Alpha Kim sighs, moving his gaze away from Yoongi, looking over at the all boys in the room, until his gaze is locked with Seokjin. 

"Well, I am here to let you know, that the council has ordered me, to let the new head alpha choose his own elders. So that's you, Seokjin." 

Seokjin stands there, surprised. He did not want to have anything to do with the alpha duties, he only wanted to raise his family with his mate. That was the reason he had made this super stupid plan, to kill all the elders, and replace them with their friends. 

"You need me to name seven names?" Seokjin says quietly. Alpha Kim sighs again. "Well, five of them has already died, so five." Yoongi growls lowly, but before he can say anything, Jimin pipes in. "Let him name seven of them to you, since we are planned to eliminate all of them." 

Alpha Kim sighs again, running his fingers through his hair. "You should have not told me this." 

"We are doing it, so your son can come back and claim his rightful place at the head alpha." Hoseok says, others agreeing with him. Silence falls in the room, when Seokjin and angry Yoongi are staring back at the older alpha Kim. 

But before he can say anything, Jungkook barges in the house, screaming Namjoon's name from the front door, startling all of them. 

"Joon, I need your keys, I am going to..." His loud voice gets quiet when he steps in the living room, and sees all the people inside. He lowers his head submissively when he sees alpha Kim standing in the middle of the room. Namjoon gives their baby to Seokjin, and guides Jungkook out from the living room. 

Two omegas walk in silence to the front door, and Namjoon gives his car keys to Jungkook. "Did you see the doctor?" He asks, hushed, and looking little over his shoulder. Jungkook nods, he too looking around. "I did. Nothing to worry about"

Namjoon sighs in delight, and hugs his friend. "That is good to hear. Take your time, and try to mend your relationship with him. We will take care of everything else." Jungkook nods, and steps out of the hug, stepping out of the door. 

Namjoon stares at the closed door, and sighs, rubbing his forehead. "Everything okay?" Seokjin's quiet voice asks, and his strong arms wrap around Namjoon, who leans closer to his mate. "Yeah, everything is fine."

Jungkook drives fast, not caring about anything else then getting to the cabin as soon as possible. Finally he reaches the forest, and drives up to the hill, getting deeper and deeper in the darkening forest. He drives until the road ends. 

He shifts in his wolf form, hurriedly, and even before he is fully changed he starts running. 

Taehyung was sitting outside, looking at the dark sky, deep in his own thoughts. Familiar scent hit his nose way before he can hear the wolf coming. The calming scent, which made his heart ache same time as he was craving to smell it more, drown himself in it, was getting closer and closer. With the intoxicating scent was a new one, familiar too, like it was mixed with his and Jungkook's. It was the pup Jungkook was carrying. 

Taehyung can hear how the running footsteps change to the walking ones, finally stopping close to him. He hears how the other shifts, before he steps away from the shadows. Taehyung lowers his gaze from the sky, meeting the shy, naked form of Jungkook, standing from few meters from him. 

Alpha lets his gaze wander over the nakedness of his omega. All the marks he and the other one had made are already gone. His mark, once proudly visible, was getting duller than ever, making them know that the time was running out for them. What draws Taehyung's gaze, is Jungkook's fuller form. His normally flat and toned stomach had swollen little, shoving his small babybump. Bittersweet emotions run through Taehyung, alpha inside him was proud, and exited to see their  omega, swollen and carrying a pup. But the human side of Taehyung was reluctant, still thinking that the pup his mate was carrying was not his. 

"Ca-can I co-come closer?" Jungkook's quiet, and scared voice asks. Taehyung only nods slightly, keeping his eyes still fixated of the rounded belly of the younger. There is slight shuffling, when the small omega gets closer, his scent surrounding the lonely alpha, embracing him. Jungkook sits on his knees, little away from Taehyung, giving the alpha a space, since the last encounter of theirs did not end so well. 

Taehyung can see how the small boy shivers in his nakedness, so he pulls his own hoodie over his head and tosses it towards the shivering boy. "I...I came as soon as I heard.." Jungkook whispers, after he has but the hoodie on. Taehyung doesn't look at him, he has diverted his gaze back to the darkening sky. 

"I went to see doctor today.." Jungkook continues, waiting a response from the other. Taehyung only hums, still looking at the sky. "I wanted to know how long I already was, so I could know whose it is.." Jungkook's voice gets even quieter, when he doesn't get a response out of the alpha. 

So he waits. 

It takes Taehyung few moments, before he lowers his gaze from the sky, and focuses on the sitting omega, connecting their eyes. There is a silent question in the alphas eyes, and Jungkook smiles a little to him. 

"It's over 18 weeks." Jungkook whispers, and alpha stops. "So it is five months.." Taehyung whispers. Jungkook nods, his eyes welled with tears, and he shuffles closer to his mate. "The evening when I drove over you..." Jungkook whispers, shuffling even closer to the alpha, their knees almost touching. 

"So its..." Taehyung whispers, looking at the small, crying boy in front of him. Jungkook nods, climbing on the alphas lap, burying his nose in his neck. 

"Yes. It is yours. It's ours."
