Valkyrae comes bounding into the room to welcome her party guests. She gathers everyone closer with her boisterous voice, and claps her hands together and gets comfy on the loveseats' armrest to her right, "I hope your all enjoying yourselves, my moms a good chef right?" She snickered and Tina nodded as she placed a comforting hand on Rae's forearm. She chimes in, as everyone else busies themselves with their closer friends or their previous conversations'.

"Yea.. it's really good! Aside from the food, when's Corpse arriving?" She whispered the surprise guests' name and inches closer to Rae's face.

"Soon, or I hope so.. he's been responsive, but there's no sign of him outside. He just sent me this.." Rae digs in her hoodie's pocket for her phone and unlocks it, and opens her messages under Corpse's name. 'Soon, I'm driving so I can't keep messaging.'

"Makes sense.. Sykkuno hasn't arrived either right?" Rae nodded and pouted behind her mug. "I hope I can still surprise him without Corpse getting first.." Rae frowned but said nothing else when Fuslie sweeped over the faces, until she was staring at Rae and came over when they made eye contact.

"I'm so happy you threw this together! I can't wait until Sy gets here!" Fuslie smiles and takes a sip of her sweet concoction, in the cheap red solo cup. Looking around the room, Rae's pretty sure everyone's got a little bit of alcohol in their system. Tinas pretty much the only one sticking to carrot juice.

"Yea.. I'm gonna call him?" Rae excuses herself and leaves the brunettes to mingle. She enters the hall with her phone touching her ear, and the silence separating her and the party.

"Rae?" Rae smirked and placed her free hand on her hip. "Hey twin, are you almost here? We're all wondering when your gettin' here!" She smiles behind the phone. She walks up to her front door and takes a peek out the small windows surrounding the door. He's not here, that's for sure..

"Oh, oh, im so sorry Rae! I'll be there soon— I'm just, helping someone? I, I have to go? I'll call you back." Rae flinched in her spot, and before she realized it, Sykkuno hung up on her. 

..What?

  "I'm so sorry! I— I, I didn't mean, for any of this to happen—," Sykkuno immediately rushes out of his parents car, and rushed over to the stranger hobbling out of their car. He just finished the call with Rae and was struggling to stuff his phone in his pocket, He just wants to settle this and get to his friends house! It doesn't help when the stranger right in front of him, comes out in all black and a splash of color in his eyes.

"S— Sykkuno?" Sykkuno recognized that voice. Ohmygod! Sykkuno pressed a hand to his mouth and slowly, the stranger was no longer a stranger but a close friend of his. Corpse.

Sykkuno imagined the musicians hair to be a bit shorter, but it was pretty lengthy and curly. It looked thick and perfect for running his hands through it... Although, it already looked like it's been teased and knotted from continuous tugging.

Sykkuno tried to prevent himself from saying anything else, especially when the musician was getting over his own shock. Corpses brows looked waxed but they did come down low, and bring out his expressive eyes. The pair of eyes staring right at him..

If only he stopped watching Corpses eyes rake up and down his awkward body like a piece of artwork, he might've not have felt as hot as he should've in this cool weather.

"Sy.. it's really you." Corpses hand came up behind his ear after shutting his car door. Sykkuno just remembered— he bumped his car! Sykkuno gasped against his hand and closed his eyes, in attempt to wish away the bad timing.
