The next morning, I woke up around eight thirty in the morning. The light that peered through the window for once wasn't grey and foggy, but it was golden and sunny.

A smile stretched across my face. I hadn't slept that good in months.

I was free to hog as much of the bed as I wanted, curl up with the entire blanket, and even bombard myself with pillows which I loved to do.

It was sunny, and not rainy. I was comfy and warm, and not cold. I was not dreary, and anxious, and angry, I was calm, and maybe even happy.

I sat up in my bed, and stretched.

My smile never faded as I tugged on a pair of jeans, a baggy shirt, and pulled my hair up into a messy bun.

No make-up, no bra, no having to dress nice, or do my hair, it felt good. So good.

I walked into Zola's bedroom, and saw both of the girls, cuddled together in Zola's bed.

The covers were pulled over their heads, but I heard their quiet giggles.

Playfully, I tiptoed in front of the bed, and yanked the covers off of them.

They both squealed playfully.

"Yes, for it is I the Morning Monster!" I growled theatrically.

The girls screamed and laughed and ran around the room while I chased after them.

After ten minutes of this, I collapsed on the bed, laughing stupidly at myself.

I felt like a new person.

"Who's hungry?" I asked.

Both of them raised their hands.

"Me!" Sofia squealed.

"Me too!" Zola said.

"Alright, how about some homemade pancakes, eggs, and some fruit?"

They looked at each other, as if shocked.

"Yeah!" they gasped in unison.

I laughed as I picked up both girls, and kissed them both on the cheek.

I opened the fridge, and took out the neccessary ingredients to make pancakes and eggs.

"So, apple juice for Princess Sofia, and orange juice for Princess Zola?" I asked.

They nodded, giggling.

I poured the drinks into sippy cups, and handed them to the girls. While they chatted happily behind me, I took out my phone, and put on some music.

I hadn't been able to do this in ages. Arizona always got up almost an hour or two after me, so I had to stay quiet, we both had to leave for work, so I never had time to make breakfast like this, living here was just utterly blissful, and it was the first day.

I pulled out two pans, and started on the pancakes. Mixing the batter, and pouring it into even circles into the pan, all the while shaking my hips and singing along to the music.

Zola and Sofia laughed behind me.

"Yeah, you like that? You like it when Mami dances like a weirdo?" I asked behind me.

"Yes," Sofia giggled.

"Keep going Aunt Callie," Zola said.

I laughed.

I made six pancakes, put two on each of the three plates, and cracked eggs in a pan.

After the eggs were simmering, I cut up some strawberries and some cantaloupe, added some blueberries, raspberries, and some grapes, and breakfast was ready.
