More alike than ever

The smell of fresh weed and pumpkin spices filled my nostrils as we entered Three Broomsticks. The old, little and rusty bell zinging as the door shut itself behind us.

The cute go-to dining place for younger and older years would always turn into a shithole after 11pm. Old men would sit here at talk about their failed wizarding experiences and junky 7th years sat here smoking muggle herbs. Probably the same ones Enzo always brings after his vacations.

I felt Mattheo's hand gently brush against mine. His cold rings making my skin cover in tiny goosebumps. Our eyes met each other's. Then both quickly averted to for us on anything different.

"Alright Riddle. Ideas?" Stefan said sliding into one side of the booth. As Mattheo slid into the one opposite him I stood between both of them not knowing what it do.

I quickly sat next to Stefan because I did not need him finding out something happened between us. Even if it was just meaningless sex. Nothing else.

"Voldemort has plans. And I don't trust either of you. But I don't want Giselle to become a death eater. And-"
I sat directly I front of him, shocked at his words. Speechless.
"Why?"  Stefan asked interrupting him.
"The more death eaters there are at school, the -" he said deeply.
"Fuck-" Stefan said. His forehead became tense. As he began to sweat he grabbed his forearm.
"I've got to go." He said.
He quickly turned his head to me and whispered.
"I'll see you soon. I swear." He said.
I just simply nodded still cold towards him.

                 Narrators point view:

As Giselle stood up to allow Stefan to go through she began rushing out as well.
"Where are you going so soon?" Mattheo said yearning towards her. Grabbing her wrist.
"Leave me alone Mattheo." She said calmly and firmly. Her green eyes darting into him. The specks making her look ever so gentle made him feel comfort.

She pushed the door open aggressively. Practically running out.
"What did he do?! Why are you pissed about your dad? I mean I can tell you're the type with daddy issues but I didn't know it goes that deep." He began.
"UGH fuck you. You weren't supposed to hear any of that shit. WHY DO YOU EVEN BOTHER? Do you enjoy playing these games? Huh? Where you pretend to care and then leave just like everyone else?" She raised her voice. Standing outside in the falling snow. A tear falling down her face slowly. One single tear. On an emotionless face.

She quickly wiped it. Pretending it wasn't there.
"Gigi I- " he began.
"Shut up." She said. Turning around.

TIME SKIP - Sunday 10:36
Giselle Rhodes:

"Wake up dumbass!" Scarlet said shaking me.
"Mhm I'm up." I mumbled.
I was definitely not ready to face Mattheo. Not after I lashed out. Even though to be fair he's the one who followed me.
Suddenly someone knocked on the door.
Scar and Bonnie who were in the bathroom now getting ready left me actually have to get out of bed.
I stood up in my short pajama shorts and tank top. Pulling my tank top up higher.

I reluctantly stomped towards the door. I opened it with an annoyed face.
"Wow who pissed you off?" Blaise said. With Enzo standing behind him.
"Everyone." I said letting them in.
As the boys sat down on a couch in the middle of the room.
"Why're you here again?" I asked, looking in my drawers for clothes.
"It's Sunday. We're hanging out. And group weed hangout in our dorm tonight too. Dugh." Blaise said.
"Right but it's like 10am." I said bending down to get the mess I made from Picking my outfit out.
"Breakfast in Broomsticks?" Enzo asked.
"Umm sorry guys but I'll skip. I'm heading to the library."which wasn't a complete lie. I just felt like being away from most people today.
"Hey boys. We're ready. Let's go?" Bonnie asked
"Aright. We'll see you later then?" Enzo said.
"Where's Draco?" Scar sacked.
"He's also out. He had too much to drink and he stayed at some Ravenclaw's dorm overnight." Blaise shrugged.
"Right." Scar rolled her eyes as I eyed her confusingly. And Bonnie stared back the same way.
"Well, bye guys." I waved.
"BYE!" They all yelled.

- time skip -

I paired my white jeans with some Christian Dior boots and Ralph Lauren sweater I had stolen from Enzo because it became too small for him.
I walked down the hall, heading towards the library to find something that could help me with the Operation not being a death eater. Even though I knew it was probably going to happen anyway. I saw Draco sitting on the main brown leather couch. Reading something. Looking like ty e most careless person isn't he world.
"Well isn't this a surprise." I said sitting on a chair infront of him.
"Rhodes staying in on a weekend? Are you feeling okay?" He smirked.
"Could say the same for you, Malfoy."
"Ive been stressed." He admitted.
"You don't look like it." I said.
"I hide it well, don't I?" I laughed softly.
"Dray you okay? You know you can talk to me about it." I said looking seriously concerned.
"Just Lucius and the death eater thing. You? Don't even try to lie it off. I cant tell you're not good." He said firmly.
"Basically same thing here.
"Damn we are cut from the same cloth." He chuckled.
"Yeah. You've been reading too many inspiring novels, the quotes are too overused." I laughed.
"Yeah well. Deal with it."

My day went on. I had been working on my research paper for Herbology in the courtyard. Absolute waste of time if you ask me. Nobody cares about why certain plants grow and where. Especially at this age. Unless you're Neville Longbottom.
The vines and roses that grew among the pleated patio and gazebo walls were my favorite part of the courtyard. I had been coming to this gazebo since I first saw it in fifth year.
