Chapter 47

"Honey."

I wiped my tears immediately before I carefully let go of Ava's hand. We're inside my room and she's still unconscious.

Mommy Tami called our family doctor to treat her wounds and according to him, she passed out due to stress and fatigue.

Mabuti na lang at nakita siyang nawalan ng malay ng driver namin bago pa kami tuluyang makalayo and nw I'm blaming myself for what happened to her.

"M-Mom." Mahinang sagot ko kay Mommy Tami.

"Can we talk outside?"

Tumango lang ako at sandali ko pang tiningnan si Ava na wala pa ring malay bago ako tuluyang lumabas ng kwarto.

"I talked to her earlier and I was the one who told her that you're gonna leave the country today." Mommy said.

Bigla kong naalala ang usapan namin kagabi and I begged for her na payagan akong bumalik sa US. Of course she asked me why at sinabi ko rin naman sa kanya ang totoo.

"Honey, I think something happened to her. You should try to hear her side and if you can find out the truth, I advise you to do it now." She looked at me intently and paused for a second. "I'm telling you this 'cause I don't want you to do the same mistake I did before. I was blinded by my anger too and I just left the country to escape from the pain but it turns out to be useless. I wasted four years of my life without your Mommy Ven and I regret it so much."

Mommy Tami is right. Wala nga kaming maayos na pag-uusap ni Ava and I don't even know her side yet. Naunahan ako ng galit sa sinabi at pinakita sa akin ni Saf.

Now everything is getting clear to me at naiintindihan ko rin ang mga sinabi ni mommy.

"Mom, can you please help me?" I asked, determined.

"Are they really coming?"

I looked at Ate Aia who looks so bored while circling her finger around the mouth of her glass.

"Yes, I'm sure of that. Suzanna is a party girl and she cannot miss this grand party." Nakangising sagot naman ni CJ.

Tahimik lang akong uminom dahil kanina ko pa pilit pinapakalma ang sarili pagkatapos naming mag-usap ni Ate Aia.

Kinausap niya rin ako pagkatapos namin mag-usap ni Mommy Tami at sinabi niya naman sa akin ang napag-usapan nila ni Miss Chantel. According to her, Ava doesn't know what happened after the party kaya malakas ang kutob nilang na-set up ito. Pinagtagpi-tagpi ko rin ang mga nangyari at ang mga sinabi't pinakita sa 'kin ni Saf sa restaurant until I came up with a plan and asked CJ to throw a party to find the culprit. 

Ang inaasahan ko nga ay simpleng pool party lang sa kanila but this woman rented the most expensive resort in town at in-invite ang lahat ng kakilala niya. 

Our target tonight are Saf and Suzanna and I will deal with Sandro later if I found out that he's also involved. Wala akong palalagpasin kahit isa sa kanila and I'll make sure that they will pay for what they've done to Ava.

"What a disappointment. I can't believe that Saf can do that. Aalisin ko na siya sa crush list ko." CJ added na nagpailing naman sa 'kin.

"Speaking of the bitches."

Napatingin ako kay Ate Aia nang marinig ko itong nagsalita pero sinundan ko rin agad ang tinitingnan nito hanggang sa makita ko sina Saf at Suzanna.

Great. They're finally here.

Tumayo ako para salubungin si Saf and she immediately hugged me tight na ine-expect ko na rin so I let her.

"I'm glad you came. Akala ko hindi ka na dadating." Panimula ko.
