get to know me pt. 2 :)

Hey guys!!

So, as you all may know, I did one of these last summer and when I did so I told myself I wanted to do one every summer just to see how much I've changed. So, that's what this is going to be.

To start, the last time I made one of these "get to know me"s I had just hit 9k reads on this book - which was, of course, insane for me then - and now I'm at 71k which is CRAZY. I seriously can't believe that many people read and enjoy my stories! It honestly means so so much to me. When I wrote this last year, I'd already been writing imagines for two years but in half the time it took me to earn 9k I earned 62k! Like for real guys, that's incredibly insane and I'm so thankful to everyone who takes the time to read the things that I write.

Anyways... Hello! My name is Savannah - although I prefer to go by Ava - I am eighteen years old, my birthday is July 21st, I am [still] 5ft 4in, and I am exactly a week away from entering my Freshman year of college.

When I wrote this last, my main focus was in psychology, which, don't get me wrong I still love and am incredibly interested in it, however at the time I was considering making it my career path and now that doesn't seem like one I can go down given my personality and how my brain mentality works.

Another thing I wrote last year that has changed; I said before that my dream state would either be Hawaii or South Carolina - a beach state. Now, my dream state is New York but my reachable dream state is Washington (not D.C.). I said before that I wanted to go to school for psychology in SC however now my current and most stable plan is to go to school in Washington State to become a Secondary Ed. English teacher. I'd also like to study film and theatre but school costs money outside of public high school so we'll see where that goes.

As I said in my previous one of these; I'm an artist in many forms and that still applies - drawing, painting, writing, photography, acting, etc.

Relationship status update; still single - just as before. Although in September I started talking to a guy, who I went out with once (don't ask), because I thought I liked him but in reality, I was just enjoying the attention he was giving me. Turns out he actually wasn't/isn't a great (or even good for that matter) person and I wasted my time beating myself up for breaking it off with him when in actuality I deserved way better. As for crushes; I'm definitely still hung up on a guy I've liked since my Sophomore year.

Now, as I did last year, I'm just going to name off a bunch of my favourite various things.
movie(s): 10 Things I Hate About You (will NEVER stop rewatching ugh LOVE), Ferris Beuller's Day Off, The Maze Runner Trilogy, I really don't watch very many movies and those are really the only few I could think of off the top of my head.
tv show(s): Outer Banks (I go through phases of obsession and now that season two is out I'm obsessing again), Teen Wolf (will forever rewatch, it is my comfort show), Friends (another comfort show I will forever be rewatching just LOVE), The Queen's Gambit (I ALWAYS recommend people this Netflix mini-series and I could watch it a million times and still never get tired of it so go watch it!), Vampire Diaries (It's taken me close to a year but I'm finally on season eight), 13 Reasons Why (no explanation should be needed for why this is such an amazing show).
