"Wow, Karl. Making us think you look like a bum and then you show up on stream looking like this? It's just unfair." Sapnap said, a smile growing on his face.

Karl began to look down, hiding his blush, when Sapnap's hurt words returned to his mind.

"You can't even look me in the eye when I compliment you on calls. I feel like you keep me at an arms distance and for the life of me I can't figure out why!"

Karl quickly sat upright in his chair, looking directly at the camera. He knew the blush was still obvious on his face, but for the sake of Sapnap's feelings, he continued anyway.

"And how is it that I look, Sapnap?" Karl said with a fake pondering look. He had placed a hand under his chin, as if to stroke and imaginary beard.

Sapnap was laughing audibly, a rare sight to see with his face cam on. Karl's heartrate quickened, knowing that laugh was because of him. He tried, once again, to shake off his body's natural response to Sapnap, reminding himself that Sapnap was only ever going to be a friend. 

"You look like the love of my life." Sapnap said, laughing even harder now. The smile Karl was trying desperately to keep on his face slowly began to melt, just like he did. 

His mind racing, he felt his cheeks glowing brighter than before. He quickly managed to get out, "Well, I would hope so! We are engaged- in the game I mean." Karl quickly corrected himself at the end to not get the fans' hopes up, or his.

Karl and Sapnap had been engaged for several months in Minecraft, soon after Ranboo and Tubbo got married in the game. 

Karl could tell how ecstatic Sapnap was. He could easily discern between genuineness and a streamer personality when it came to his best friend. Sapnap's grin hadn't left his face since Karl turned on his camera, especially since Karl was finally being receptive the way he missed so much. The chat soon picked up on Sapnap's mood too.

"Oh my goodness, so many donations are coming through right now! Thank you guys, you're the best! Haha, yes, definitely transitioning to husband arc." Sapnap said while reading aloud the donations that were popping up on his screen one after another. Karl was glad for the distraction because the chat was flooding with comments about his blushing.

Sapnap's phone's text tone rang and he eagerly looked down to see the message. Karl didn't realize it was possible for Sapnap's smile to get larger, but he was awestruck at the sight of his grinning boy.

"Chat! I just got some great news! I'm finally allowed to tell you about a plan that's been in the works for weeks now." Sapnap said, pausing for a few seconds, waiting for chat to catch up.

His interests peaked, and growing inpatient as to what Sapnap could be hinting at, Karl spoke up, "Well.. Tell us!" Karl spoke animatedly, waving his arms around.

Sapnap let out a light chuckle at Karl's response, looking down at shaking his head at his friends obliviousness. "Karl, you're literally part of the plan." Sapnap said, his laugh still woven into his words. 

Karl just sat, staring at his camera, with legitimate confusion on his face. Sapnap found this adorable look of confusion to be endearing. 

"Has something to do with that plane ticket I bought you?" Sapnap said, raising an eyebrow at Karl. 

"OH! We can finally tell them?" Karl responded, finally on the same page as his best friend. 

"Yes!" Sapnap chirped back, a smile still on his full, pink lips. "Karl, Dream, and I are all going to visit George in England in.." Sapnap paused looking down at his phone again momentarily, "11 days!" He finally finished. 

As expected, the chat went crazy. It was nearly impossible to actually read any messages because of the speed they were going. More donations also started flooding in.

"Karlnap AND dnf :')" - $20 donation

"Sure you guys are just engaged in the game?" - $15 donation

Sapnap was distracted by his phone, updating Dream that he had just informed his stream about the trip, so Karl decided to take over reading the donations. 

Just as Karl was finishing up, one more donation popped up.

"Karlnap and dnf joint wedding, stay tuned" - Dream donated $100

Karl read the donation without seeing who it was from until he finished. Sapnap began laughing and cheering. He took off his headphones off to yell to Dream without blowing out this chat's ears, considering Dream was just in the room next door. 

Sapnap's face cam suddenly shut off, leaving Karl alone with Sapnap's chat. 

"Uhh.." Karl started and let out a nervous chuckle, not understanding where Sapnap had gone. 

"Hey chat! Hi Karl!" Dream's low voice boomed through the mic.

"Hi Dream!" Karl responded, now understanding why Sapnap had to turn his face cam off. 

Dream spoke to the chat about the details of their trip and gave a teaser of some videos they planned on filming. He did regretfully inform them that he wouldn't be doing a face reveal, despite previously mentioning maybe doing one once he met George in person. 

Dream stayed on the stream for another 30 minutes, meaning Sapnap's camera stayed off for another 30 minutes as well. 

Once dream left the room, Sapnap turned his camera back on, getting readjusted to just a one person set up. 

Karl was so happy to be able to see Sapnap's face again. Not just because he felt awkward being the only with a camera on during someone else's stream, but because he could finally see Sapnap again. Karl couldn't help but stare at Sapnap through the monitor. "So handsome." 

Karl slapped a hand dramatically over his mouth, honestly shocked his thoughts had escaped his lips. He let out an anxious giggle, a nervous habit of his. 

Sapnap raised an eyebrow and stayed silent for a second before responding.
