•One day while sneaking around the Insectoid Tribe, Jess found a 8 year old pinkette training by herself and far away from the other Insectoid Kids. And Jessamine was rather impressed by the skill the kid showed in hand-to-hand combat.
•Upon getting rid of the invisibility spell on herself, Jess may have spooked the pinkette TOO much as she instantly flew away to a nearby group of Insectoids.
•As Jess walked over to them and apologizing to the pinkette, the Insectoids started making fun of the mute girl for apparently befriending a Borrower.
•It didn't take long to figure out why the pinkette, Cheryl, was training by herself...
... and Jessamine was n o t amused.
Long story short, the Insectoid Kids ran away terrified and Cheryl was confused why as Jess was protectively holding her (not noticing it was radiating a red glow).
Jess only explained that those kids won't bother her for a long time ;)
•Albeit worried by what she meant, Cheryl thought it was super cool that "Nova" stood up to her that way, and showed the Borrower a page in her notebook she hasn't shown anyone for a while
'Can we be friends..?'
Jess didn't hesitate in her response.
•From then on, Jess would sneak into the Insectoid's Hive more often to see Cheryl. She would even bring the girl to visit the other Tribes to have fun.
•After a few weeks of getting to knowCheryl, Nova swore she wouldn't hesitate to kill all the tribes' leaders and herself.
