A lot had happened in the three weeks since the Sunday I met Elliot's daughter. For one, I met Elliot's daughter who was the sweetest four year old I had ever met and I found that Elliot was a really amazing father. Following that, my brothers were out of the hospital and back home, regularly attended hospital recommended PT sessions that would last for another three, maybe four, weeks, house renovations began and completed, I met all my brothers girlfriends -funny enough, all of my seventeen year old brothers had girlfriend's- the Saturday I went shopping with my brothers for new home decor and whatnot, I ended up accompanying Darius and Luciano back to the CDE building and suddenly Saturdays turned into 'Bring Adrian to work day', not that I minded, and finally, I grew closer with all my friends, Seb and Alex included.

At present, it was 4:15 PM on a Saturday afternoon and I had just got out of the shower to begin the process of getting ready. October thirty first had been fast approaching, along with Halloween plans being made. Kobe's family was turning their home into a haunted ghost house and extended visitation invitations to the entire eighth grade class for a Halloween celebration age-appropriate for us.

Miraculously, it didn't take much effort to get my brothers to say yes. All it took was a phone call to Kobe's uncle/dad and a few agonising hours later, I got two 'yes's.

Then the invitation had a sleepover added to it for all of Kobe's actual friends -and I admit hearing that did make me feel good- with the assurance that Kobe's older cousin/brother was not going to be there because he was going to a party of his own then he would be at a friend's house and that girls and boys would have their own rooms.

My brothers were more than apprehensive about the idea, firmly sticking with no as their immediate responses. The day before Halloween at dinner, a set of rules were layed out as the conditions for me sleeping over. They were pretty rational though like my phone was to stay on all times and things along the lines of that. With a promise from me that I would abide by all those rules, Dari and Luci reluctantly gave me the go ahead.

The box that temporary blonde hair dye came in told me it would last about a week to a week and half with constant washing and that was a fact I was thankful for. Staring at myself in my full body mirror, I couldn't help scrunching up my face displeasingly at hair color that did not suit me at all.

My costume on the other hand, I didn't mind.

The light blue doctors' scrubs fit me perfectly and the white lab coat stopped just below my ass. My feet were tucked comfortably in a pair of low black Converse, the temporary blonde colored hair having being straightened and then curled lightly so it fell in loose waves down my back and my blue eyes fit perfectly into my costume, no contacts required.
