Brain On Fire is about a twenty-one year old woman who was a journalist in New York. She had her dream job and sweet boyfriend, life was great for her! Sadly, things decided to go spiraling downwards for Susannah. The poor woman ended up with a disease that was difficult to find for no one knew what it was. Most of the doctors wanted to claim that it was Schizophrenia or bipolar, but her parents were determined to find the truth.
I'll give this film a 7/10 due to how good the acting was and the fact it was based on a true story. A woman did actually go through the things the actress portrayed. Imagine yourself in those shoes, it'd be a scary thing to go through; slowly losing yourself. I thought the film was well done. If you like dramas, medical shows or films, and/or based on true stories, you'll enjoy this film! It is available on Netflix! I hope you enjoy this film.
