Chapter 11

(About two months after the last chapter ended)

Andy and Robert were driving together to the station, they just dropped Maddie off at school.

"You should eat with us" she said looking out of the window "it's weird in the captain, and I like eating be myself" he placed his right hand on her thigh.

"No it's not. My dad used to eat with us all the time. Please... for me?" She gave him a look she knew he can't say no to.

"Okay okay. By the way you can only blame yourself in that face Maddie does when she wants something" he chuckled at her.

She cheered a little as he changed his mind "her stubbornness is your fault though"

"Don't be so sure about that... miss didn't tell my ex I was having his baby cause a woman answered his phone" she punched his arm playfully "shut up" she shook her head.

"You know our two months anniversary in next week?"

"We're not celebrating two months anniversary... we can celebrate on our sex months" she laughed.

"Whatever..." he said, knowing what he planned for her. They didn't go on a real date since they got back together and he wanted their first date to be special.

They parked at the station parking Andy leaned forward for a last kiss for the next 24 hours since they kept things professional at work so no one will find out.

"Let's go, I love you" Robert said as they pulled away from the kiss "I love you too" she smiled at him before getting out of the car.

The team was sitting at the beanery when Robert walked in "morning cap" they all said in union.

"You mind if I'll eat with you guys?" He asked nervously excepts or Andy everyone looked at each other surprised. He was their captain for a few months not and never once had a meal with them.

"Of course!" Travis said a little too excited then he first intended to. Andy let out a little giggle that thankfully didn't pulled the attention.

Robert gave them a soft embarrassed smile and sat at the only available chair next to Andy.

Everyone started putting food in their plates, and and Robert both reached for the salad and their hands bumped making them both to let out a little laugh, this take it did pulled a little attention but no one said anything.

Andy pulled her hand away, to let Robert take the salad first but he just put some in her plate instead.

"Thanks" she mumbled.

Everyone started eating in silence until Vic spoke up "so how's Maddie?"

"She's good! Totally got used to having her dad around" Andy sis d with a smile.

"That's really amazing how this coincidence reunited you're family" she said.

"Yeah it's been really great to be together" Robert said and suddenly got tensed up "with Maddie I mean. I love being a father..." he explained him self and got a few casual nods from the team.

"I hear from Andy you're also really good at it" Maya laughed making his embarrassment go away.

"Yeah don't let this tough captain fool you. Maddie made him wear a princess tiara the other day" Andy said and got laughs from everyone including Robert "you promised not to tell!" Robert told her.

"Shut up it was funny!" She looked at him and made a look with her eyes telling him she knew what she was doing.

"I'm so jealous right now" Travis said.
