Putting on a light blue sweater to add up on her first layer of clothing which is a thin shirt, Camila just sighed at herself on the mirror

"Shall we go now?" She asked, forcing a smile to Dinah who's done wearing her shoes.

"Pfft- what's with the sighs, Chancho?" Dinah asked, imitating the long breath she took in an exaggerated way.

"You act as if I can't hear you sighing too. Believe me, China. Your heavy exhales could travel from L.A to Miami then fly up to the Mars" the brunette replied before crouching down again to check if she tied her shoelaces tight

"Miami, huh? Been missing Lauren?" Dinah looked at her with a teasing expression plastered on every muscle of her face, completely ignoring the whole thing she said.

However, she received no response or amusement, and so her whimsy side instantly vanished as she asked her again "y'know, I've been sensing such negative spirits on you after we didn't see each other for like three days. Tell me. Did something bad happened to the building? I told you to tell me everything immediately, right? Don't lie to me now. I promised not to do anything. You can trust me with that"

"Nothing's been happening lately, Dinah" Camila replied, prolonging her name to assure her more

The polynesian however, just gave her a skeptical look that Camila didn't noticed at all "is it because of Lauren?" The younger then asked, watching as the brunette lazily dropped herself to sit on her bed.

"Just finish that already so we can go now. It's nearly 2pm" Camila stated, motioning her the clock on the bedside table

"I wasn't doing anything! I'm waiting for you" Dinah complained

Camila just frowned "I'm waiting for you too" she responded, watching as the polynesian rolled her brown eyes

"Then what you waiting for? Damn, get your ass up there!" She said, leaving the older girl in her room and went downstairs to get the house's key

"C'mon, Walz! Don't wait for me to come there at you and kick your ass downstairs" she screamed for the lady who's still inside. She watched as her friend finally went out of the room and run downstairs with of course- a couple of stumbling and shits.

The both of them then locked the door before they made their path on the way to the certain house where Dinah's aunt is living. They'll be fetching the kids as the usual but the vibe this time isn't really usual at all. Both of them are so quiet. Nothing to harken to but their shoes scratching against the asphalt pavement or the dead leaves that produces such music to Camila's ears when being stepped on to

"Jesus, chanch. I hate that sound!" Dinah complained. She's probably the first one from the both of them to make a topic or whatever you call that

"What? The leaves? I love their sound!" Camila protested before stepping on one again

"Oh, God. It's fucking autumn, nearly damn winter and this bitch is making me hotheaded" she ranted under her breath

"I can hear you, Cheechee. Stop cursing. And winter's not that near. It'll take 1 month and like- days more since it's only November now" Camila stated without even giving her a look.

Dinah however, knowing that she's not looking, just rolled her eyes "okay, Ms. Mathematician who hates winter" she muttered with a snigger

Soon enough, they came across the house they're familiar with. They've arrived. Dinah just quietly reached out to tap the doorbell and both of them waited patiently in silence. Their ears heard nothing but the sound of the trees swaying on the neighborhood and the birds singing. Maybe the cars that were passing by too but just sometimes since they're still within the suburbs
