"You are so beautiful". The curled hair guy said which made me to smile until the realisation hit me.

"Who paid you". I had to ask

"What".

"Was it Tomi". I asked him again

"What are you talking about, and who is Tomi". He asked,feigning innocence.

Does he think I'm stupid

I eyed him and walked away.

Some hours later, I was sitting on my middle sized yellow bed.

"You are so beautiful". The liar's word kept replaying in my head. I'm not that stupid I know Tomi must have paid him.

Look at those huge lips
She is so ugly
I wonder who is going to kiss her
I'm sure any man who will marry her would be forced to do so
God, her lips irritates me

Those words, my fellow people ,are my breakfast, lunch and dinner daily which I have gladly accepted from the society.

I have always wondered if I was that ugly, my mom, Tomi and Toni also have big lips so why I'm I the one feeling unwanted.

A random guy now comes to meet me telling me I am beautiful, you don't just expect me to believe him, right.

"knock, knock". Someone said while knocking

"Who is there". I asked even though I know who it was

"Tomi". The person said

"Tomi, who". I decided to annoy her

"Tori, stop joking and open this door".
She yelled

"Okaaaay, I'm coming". I said in a mocking tone, stood up and opened the door.

She sat down at the edge of my bed .

"So....." She said , wriggling her brows which she does anytime she wants to hear a gist.

"Why did you leave me at the store, I was looking for you everywhere".

"I saw you talking to that cute boy, didn't want to ruin the moment". She said , excitement boosting all over her face.

"Ha ha ha, stop pretending I know you paid that guy to talk to me".  I told her with a serious tone

"Paid, what the hell are you talking about, why would I do that".

"Then if you didn't pay him, who did".

"Why would anyone pay him to talk to you, doesn't make any sense to me".

"He said I am beautiful, which is not true so it means someone paid him to talk to me to make me happy, or he was just insulting me by saying that".

"Tori, how many times have we warned you to stop saying that, you are very beautiful and you know it".

"You don't need to lie to me".

"I'm not lying ,you are beautiful".

"If you don't have any thing better to say , be going". I said to change the subject

"Are you chasing me out of your room". She asked with mock anger

"No, I am asking you to leave, what are you even doing here".

"Oh, I almost forgot"

"What"

"You know that contract dad was dying to  get". Why was she telling me this

"Yep"

"He got it"

"Really". I faked a smile

"Yeah, and his partner , that Mr Adebayo hosted a party at his house tonight and we are going".

"Great, have fun".

"No, you are coming with us"

"I'm not in the mood for parties, you and Toni should go".

"Dad said it is compulsory for us to be there, because people would ask of us, so get your lazy ass of that bed and go change into something nice".

"I don't even know what to wear". I said honestly

"Ok, let me help you". She opened my wardrobe, brought out a black ribbed button bodycon dress with a white sandal".

"Here you go, I have to go and dress, see you in ten minutes". She said, putting the dress on my bed

"B..u.t".

"Gotta go". She said, shutting the door

I guess I just have to go so I picked up the dress, put it on and wore my sandals. I went to my dressing mirror to put a little powder on my face, after doing that I picked up a lip gloss to put on my huge lips

I wonder maybe, just maybe if I had a smaller lips I would have been beautiful.

I picked up my small black Gucci purse, shut the door and was ready to receive insults from everyone in the party.
