Thursday[Bella's POV] 

After my alchemy class it was my turn to help clean up any spills and the cauldron but seeing as most of the trouble makers were sent out there weren't that many spills; while i was putting away the wipe cloths i heard a faint tap on the corridor window, damien waved at me with a grin, i could hear the envy from the other girls but i din't care for it, what's wrong with a friend being a friend.

"Hello there, how was alchemy?"

"It was good, Mr Crowley nagged a bunch off us about specific measurements down to the very drop"

"Ahh~ i remember him, he gave even me and liam hell you guys are in for a treat, you haven't seen anything yet"

"Yeah thanks sooo encouraging" I rolled my eyes at him; i was about to drop my things in my locker planning to my dorm but there was an announcement on the PAS.

I stared at damien for a solid minute before thinking of whatever possible reason the GC had to call me of all people, not bragging but besides that incident with ezra i have a pretty clean slate, i gave my bag and my leisure books to damien and asked if he could take them to my dorm for me; The GC's office was a long walk from the Alchemy lab, so i had enough time to think of what reason i was being called.

When i reached the GC's office i was immediately asked to sit down

"First of Mrs Hayes i know you probably heard of the incident with Ms Bonvou and i am terribly sorry for that"

"Actually i did come to hear about that and i wasn't expecting that from you but that's not why you're here"

"Sooo i'm NOT in trouble"

"Oh no no no quite the opposite i'd actually like to advice you on your academics"

Mrs Hayes pulled out an envelope with my school id printed on it and opened it up for me, it showed all the mid term and final exams along with my continuous assessments since i started my freshamn year in Westcrow. I looked through everything but i couldn't really spot any faults in my grades i looked back at her for some kind of explanation but she only gave me a gentle smile.

"What i meant was your grades are fantastic bella, with these i'm surprised your not already a diamond tier, but as with all things in life there needs to be some kind of balance"

"What do you mean Mrs Hayes?"

"What i mean is you join an extracurricular club or even join the student council"

"Me? but there's nothing i've taken an interest to do you have any recommendations"

"Well alot of the clubs are already full but i hear the volleyball and student council are looking for an extra member" 

"Okay then i'll try volleyball, Student council has way to much drama"

To make things a little quicker pass through the walls to the V.ball court looking for whoever was in charge

"Hello there, are you looking for someone?"One of the girls asked

"Yes i'm looking for the captain is she here?"

"Did someone call me!?" I heard a voice from across the room yell out, i looked over and i wish i could just fall through the floor, the Capt. of the V.ball team was the girl i almost smacked in the face with a almost 9 pound ball.

"Oh you're the girl who almost sent me to the ER" She laughed

"I am so sorry uhhh. . . ."

"Maelyn. . . .Maelyn Park and you are?"

"Bella swift, again i am so sorry for that day"

"No worries, i'm guessing you're hear for the auditions?"

"Yes i am and i wanted to ask if. . ."

"You're in!"

"Huh?"

Wait just like that?No audition?No questions?

"With the hit you landed to that ball you have spiker potential, and that's exactly what we're looking for" I looked to the other girls behind for any kind of objection but they all just smiled like they all agreed with her decision.

Maelyn walked me through all the practice schedules which were a lot lighter than i expected which still gave me time to still focus on my studying.

When i got to my dorm i was completely frozen, i was still having difficulty comprehended what the hoopla had just happened, ezra continuously tried to snap me out of my faze but i was to amazed to make sense of what she was saying.

The next day[Friday]

Normal POV

The day had come to a close with cleanup being put into the hands of other students allowing bella to slip out and start her weekend easily, she gathered her materials and books from her desk but a familiar tap on the corridor window drew her attention; Damien had made a very noticeable habit out of 'escorting' bella after class he'd do this whenever he had a free period, before lunch breaks and at the end of school, bella of course though nothing of it but to the other girls in the class and an others who caught notice of this it was like dumping sodium into cold water.

The two were on their way to the girls' dorm until bella remembered she had borrowed liam's notes from his junior year to study and had to return them,

"Hey can we head back to the boys' side i need to give this back to liam real quick"

"Of course"

They got to damien and liam's dorm and just when liam popped out of his own room he froze seeing both damien and liam.

"Hey liam just came to return this to you it was a huge help"

"Yeah your welcome, thanks for returning it with HiM"

"Oh? what do you mean?"

Bella was practically clueless to the rivalry between liam and damien especially when it comes to bella; Liam had no limits to how overprotective he was with bella so much that people have had some very PG misunderstandings when it came to the both of them, the only thing saving them was their similarity in hair color.

"W-well i think i'm done here, i'll head back to my dorm" Bella said after sensing the thick tension in the room

"Okay then i'll escor-" Damien tried to say before liam dug his claws into his shoulders,"No.You.Will.Not."; The last thing liam needed was him being alone with him all the way to her own personal dorm in his mind anything could happen and not in the case of being hurt.

"Damien.Winchester what in dianatia's name are you trying to do?"

"Just guiding your sweet little cousin from the harsh monsters in this school or at least as you say it"

"I don't need you of all people to 'guard' her she can guard herself but since you met her you've caused nothing but rumors and trouble for her"

"Listen Hart, i've had my eyes on your sweet little cousin for a while and you know it, i bear no ill intentions towards her and you know that as well"

"I don't want to hear another word from you damien"

"Listen liam how long do you intend to play big brother for huh? we are already coming to the close of our third term in less than 4 months we will be graduating and taking on the duties from our fathers, you'll probably even get engaged"

"You!-"

"I'm only saying the truth, i'd rather let death take me than let even a drop of harm come upon her and you know that very well, so let me do what you have been trying to do, let me protect her!"
