EMMAS POV
I woke up with Dominic's hands around my waist and his head in my neck, asleep. I look around and see our clothes all over my floor. I look over to my clock and see it's 10 am.
"ah shit," I whisper to myself I and Dom have that meeting with everyone at 11 am.
"Dom..." I say calmly while shaking him
"hmm" half-asleep "don't you have to go to that meeting with 'the shadow' at 11?" I ask but already knowing the answer.
"mhm, why what time is it?" he asks with his deep morning voice which kinda turned me on.
"it 10:11 am," I say while getting up "you have to go Dom, or you will be lat-" I WAS saying until I rudely got interrupted with a knock on my door.
"Emma, it's Nathan" I heard from the other side of the door.
"Shit... Dom go in my shower and turn it on, it will look like I'm getting in the shower," I quickly whisper while putting some clothes on.
"one minute Nathan!" I shout so he can hear me, quickly pick up the closes clothes near me and kick rest on them under my bed so Nathan doesn't see owt.
I open the door a bit with Dom's massive hoodie on that covered my neck and his boxers on but they're so big they look like shorts "Heyyy twinnn wassup? I was just about to get in the shower" I say poking my head out of my door.
"oh erm hey...twin? Ace needs you" he says awkwardly but I see some sympathy in his eyes for some reason?
"oh ok well let me go turn my shower off and I'll go see him," I say while walking back inside my room and locking my door.
I walk to my bathroom and see Dominic in the shower causally taking a shower ffs.
I walk back out of my bathroom, walk into my wardrobe, and quickly put some shorts on instead of boxers.
"Dom, take your time I'm off to ace's office" I shout so he can hear me "okay good luck" he shouts back.
I walk downstairs and see everyone upset, "what's up with all you?" I ask scaring some off them
"Ace and dad need to see you," mattheo said quietly "okay?" walking to there office
I just walk in I don't really give a fuck about knocking "what's up?" "oh... Emma" dad says while walking up to me
"The Russians sent us a picture..." someone says behind me, I turn around a see Ace stood there.
"okay well show me it then," I say straight up I hate sympathy
Ace walks up to his computer and pulls up the picture, I go over and take a look and see a picture of a newborn? wait I know who that is...
"do you know who this is?" dad asks me "Yeah... before mum died I looked after him for my auntie about 5 days ago? why do the Russians have him??" I ask without showing emotions
"Emma your mother doesn't have any sisters..." dad says back to me
"well, whose baby is that then?" I question generally confused
"we think it might be mothers?" Ace announced with a weird look on his face
"did your mother have any boyfriends or anyth-" "-No" I quickly spat out interrupting dad
"I think I would know if she was pregnant," I say walking out of his office as fast as I could and walking to my office
I walk into my office and sit down "fuck.." I whisper to myself holding back my tears. I quickly called my men and told them to find out anything that connects that baby and my mother.
Wait she did start wearing really really baggy clothes a couple of weeks ago. What if she was trying to hide the baby bump... oh my god what the fuck is wrong with her.
She could have told me if she was... then I got a message and it was our local supermarket camera footage of my mother walking past with a massive baby bump... fucksake
This can't be happening she never slept with anyone except... Darren
that's why she didn't tell me because Darren was the baby daddy.. it's all connecting now
my mother gave birth 2 weeks ago I was always so busy with training and the missions that I didn't even realize... I'm a horrible daughter.
then I heard a knock on my door I cleared my throat "come in" I shout
Everyone came in, even Dominic, I think Ella and Freya are cooking and the kids are playing somewhere.
"yeah?" I say looking at them all
"Are you okay pricessa?" nic asks like I was some weak little girl, of course, I had to prove him wrong
"The shadow wants to see you in 10 minutes she's on her way. She said she will meet you in the meeting room." I say coldly than normal
They all nod "leave" I demanded. They all leave and close the door
I quickly walk out of my office and go to my room to get changed into 'the shadow'
I walk into my room and lock my door and make my way to my wardrobe and pull out an outfit
I get changed and put on some light makeup on. And covered my hickeys and then picked up my favourite gun and put it behind my back with my jacket hiding it.
and went downstairs..
