DOMINICS POV

25th December

After the kids open there Christmas presents I went to my office and start doing some paper work until my brother, Jamie comes in

"hey what's up?" I ask and he sits down "phoebe is pregnant" he says "congratulations man" I smile

Phoebe is Jamie's wife she came to Spain about a month ago but I haven't seen her yet she's probably busy

"We are going to start a family... and I need my family to stay safe but they won't be if I'm the dom of the Italian mafia..." he says and I cross my eyebrows

"that why your going to be the don of the mafia now" He says and I nod me "and phoebe are going back to Italy" "have fun" I say getting up
and shaking his hand but he pulls in for a hug

8:10pm

All day iv been so busy being In Meetings and sorting out the mafia so we stay at the top of the most powerful but I haven't even had time to see em all day

I walk into my office to get my phone and I look on my computer and saw I got sent a message from a unknown number

I open the message and I read the it:
'break up with Emma D'Angelo and say that you was using her or we will kill her

I walk into her room and she puts Ellis down on his play mat

"hey you've been busy today I haven't seen u all day" she says and sits down on her bed
"yeah... um it's just been really busy" I said not looking at her at all

"you good?" She ask as I was looking guilty
"we need to talk.." I mutters and sat down on the bed with her

" we have to go our separate ways..." I lowly said looking at the floor

"w-what?!" She stuttered confused "I'm so sorry em..." I finally looks up  "why." She says lowly

"it's complicat-" "No Dominic I want the real reason" she interrupted me pissed off

"I can't.." I whispered and she stood up "Dominic I want the fucking real reason" She shouted "it's because I don't have any feelings for you" I shouted back "I was just fucking using you" i finished

dead silence...

she told me to leave so I did

fuck... I don't think anything have broken me so much but the look in her eyes trust me Emma it's for the better...

I have 1 more meeting with Emma's dad, grandad and brothers great.

I got in the meeting and sat down "the Russians have stolen the Spanish shipment worth 30 million" Ace says pissed off

we was talking on our corse of action next until we heard massive banging coming from the gym
so we followed to see Emma's punching the bag

I'm glad I'm not that bag right now...
"Emma?" ace called but she's far deep in her thoughts

"EMMA STOP" Ace shouted snapping her out of her thoughts and she looked at us all

"what?" She ask confused "I was telling u to stop for the past 2 minutes and u couldn't hear me" ace said going close to her Notting his eyebrows

"so?" she ask, she was crying... "we was just all in a meeting until we heard massive bangs so we followed them and you was here punching the living shit out of the punching back, are you okay?" seb says walking towards me and wiping her tears

"I'm fine" She says pushing his hands away from her "can I go back to the punching back now?" She says rolling her eyes "omg Emma look at your hands" Nathan pointed out and I look down at her very bloody hands... this is why we wear gloves

"does that not hurt?!" nic asked picking my hands up and looking at them "Emma this is why we wear boxing gloves" enzo says worried

"I forgot ok? Chill" she say and he looks down, she then looks over to me

"go back to your meeting now I don't need baby sitters" she say pissed off "you do realise that your shoulder isn't 100% healed?! You could get hurt" Matheo said worried and she rolled her eyes again

he sighed "come on let's get your hands wrapped" her grandad says while walking to the closest bathroom and we go back to the meeting

but I wasn't really paying attention all I can think about is Emma... After the meeting I went to my room and got changed

I opened my door and saw Emma and our eyes meet, "Emma" i addressed and she looked at me confused

I scan her face and nothing... not one emotion is showing on that perfect face

I just stood there looking at her and she was doing the same

"Emma!" holly shouted running up to her "what's up?" she say confused "sorry to ruin your moment but Lucas just fell in the pool and he can't swim" She said so quick I hardly understood but did

we all run outside to the pool and Emma quickly jumped in diving into the pool and was trying to get Lucas but all he was doing was kicking and moving so she couldn't grab him until he stopped...

she grabbed him and put him on her back and swam back and I grabbed him and checked his pulse but nothing...

Emma started to do SPR and MTM and after a minute he spat out water and started breathing
I then heard my mum shouting Lucas and she ran up to him and hugged him

she then hugged Emma and then went back to Lucas and I stood up about to leave until I glanced at Emma to see her top was very see through and all the guards was looking at her

I look at the guards and they noticed me looking at them and they stopped looking at Emma

I look back to Emma and we made eye contact and I could of sworn she was crying...

kacey was going up to her but she walked away and went inside the house...

fuck sake

9:30pm

I can't sleep all I can think about is Emma...
I went downstairs whiskey can help me right now,

I have about 3 glasses until I heard someone coming in and it was Emma...

she went into the fridge not even looking at me and pulled out a bottle of water she was about to walk out until I spoke up and told her to wait so She stopped and turned around

"Trust me" I said and she crossed her eyebrows "trust you?" she ask while laughing
"I can't trust you! not anymore Dominic"

I just stood there "you will understand later on"
I said looking her up and down I only just noticed what she's wearing

"no not later on I already understand" she says walking off

fucksake man all I want to do is go up to her and smash my lips to hers and tell her it's all going to be okay... but I can't.

I go upstairs and got into bed I love her so if this is what I have to do to keep her safe then so be it
