A/N

Ahhh sorry I'm a bit late today. So .... here's what happened. School started, and I've been super busy already. So busy in fact that I realized last night that I hadn't even started on this chapter. But since I'm so determined to keep this weekly update schedule, I quickly wrote this chapter, but it's not as long as they usually are, so I apologize for that! But I'm hoping you'll like it regardless. Thanks again for all of your love and support! =^_^=

-------------------------------------

It had been a couple days since Kai had seen the text on Taehyun's phone from who he now referred to as "Green Heart." As expected, Taehyun had become busier than usual, always leaving around the dinner hour to supposedly study. But Kai had a sneaking suspicion that this mysterious person was behind his friend's disappearances.

He wasn't upset that Taehyun had found someone else to hang out with. He was more upset that Taehyun still hadn't mentioned this person to him at all. He didn't want to bring it up, as he'd have to reveal that he saw the text.

He was currently back at the dorm to grab a quick dinner before yet another dance team practice. They had a huge competition coming up, and he still felt that he had a lot of improvement to make to be ready on time. However, after seeing the dorm empty once again, Kai couldn't help but sigh, a frown quickly forming on his face.

"I haven't seen Taehyun in days. I wonder if he's okay."

Kai knew that the other boy had a habit of not taking the best care of himself during exam periods. However, due to the lack of communication, he could only hope that Green Heart was being sure the boy took care of himself. Since his mood had dwindled, Kai decided to just make a quick sandwich to eat on the way to rehearsal.

The sandwich wasn't anything special, the boy not having the energy to make anything too complicated. Once it was made, he checked his dance bag to be sure everything was there before leaving his dorm once again. Even with the cool air touching his skin, he couldn't help but let his thoughts eat at him.

He hasn't even texted me. Is he avoiding me? Did I do something to upset him? Does he know ...

Before Kai could finish his thought, he felt another body slide next to him, a hand holding onto his shoulder. Kai looked up to see his friend Hyunjin appear next to him, a comforting smile on his face. The boy patted his shoulder a couple times before speaking up.

"Everything okay, Kai? You seemed to be really in your head, and you're walking slower than usual." After Kai looked towards the ground, Hyunjin spoke softer. "Did something happen?"

"I haven't seen my roommate in a couple days. I think he's seeing somebody, but he hasn't told me about them. I don't know ..." Kai sighed before continuing. "... I just thought we were closer than that. I miss him."

After Hyunjin raised his eyebrows with a teasing stare, Kai quickly rebutted. "As a friend of course. Don't give me that look. My crush on him came and went. I'm just concerned as his friend now."
