Kisaki was about to stop Izana when Kakucho suddenly appeared stopping your bestfriend from following.

"I'm not going home yet" you spoke when he get on his bike waiting for you to get on

"No.. that's my bestfriend. We haven't seen eachother for 10 years"

"Y/n. Let's go home." Izana spat firmly glaring at you

You gulped scaredly getting on his bike before looking back at Kisaki and Kakucho

"Sorry, see you later" you waved making Izana "tch" before speeding off.

"Why do you care about that, who are you?"

"Kisaki~ oh- who's this guy?" A tall guy walks out of the shop followed by a guy with a face mask.

You entered the house seeing that your siblings are not home.

"Hello??" You called out but no one answered. You walked straight into your room leaving Izana but he followed you.

"Y/n. Why were you hugging that guy?" Izana asked closing the door behind him

"Why not? He was my childhood friend"

"He WAS. Not anymore."

"He still is" you rolled your eyes sitting on the bed

"I don't like him"

"He doesn't like you either Izana." He looked at you surprised

"What's wrong with you?" He furrowed his brows with his hand on his temple.

'Wow am I really the one at fault here?!'

"I should be asking you that!" You stood up to face him annoyed

"What?"

"That. You were ignoring me earlier not caring about what I say, even leaving me alone when you promised we'd watch the movie. Then here you are appearing out of nowhere getting mad about me hugging my frie-" your eyes widened when he grabbed your jaw pulling you into a kiss.

Your brain was too shocked that you didn't know how to react. He put his thumb on your chin asking permission

'What is this... Why do I feel the butterflies in my stomach wanting to break free'

Hs hand moves to your cheek as he put his other hand on your waist.

He broke the kiss and you looked away blushing but he put both of his hands on your cheeks making you face him.

"Because I don't wanna see you hugging other guys than me" he stared into your eyes adoringly

"I'm sorry about ignoring you earlier... I can't even stand a day without you..." you remained silent still having mixed emotions about what happened.

He caress your cheeks before kissing your forehead.

"Please let me love you..." he burried his head on your neck hugging you

"W-what do you mean?"

"I love you... not as a brother... I think I've fallen deeper than that...."

'Is this real? It's not a one sided feeling? He feels the same way as I do?'

"I... I love you too..." you mumble blushing he looks at you with hope swirling through his eyes.

"Wait- can you repeat that?"

"I love you too..." you whispered

He smiled brightly as his cheek turns into light pink

"Can you repeat it again?" You glared at him making him chuckle as he kiss your cheek before hugging you again.

"I swear I won't hurt you"

"Y/n?!" Shinichiro bursted to the room sighing in relief as soon as he saw you asleep beside Izana who's scrolling through his phone.

"Why?" Izana looked up

"Nothing... you guys made up?" The older asked leaning on the frame of the door smiling

Izana smiled brighter than ever nodding that made Shinichiro curious.

"Tell me about it later"

"Kisaki, you're late again"

"Yeah, I know" Kisaki sat down beside Kiyoshi followed by a man with a mask sitting across him

"Choji, where did you go? Why were you late?" Kiyoshi faced the masked man beside him

"Probably out stalking his bestfriend again" a guy teased since Kisaki goes out sometimes to check up on you secretly if you're okay

"Atleast he has a friend to check.. what about you?" The guy in mask Choji spat making Hanma snicker at the back together with the other men

Kiyoshi cleared his throat causing them to stop. He looks again to Choji

"We went to buy some things for our house father"

"I told you to stay at our house.. why are you so stubborn"

"I don't wanna live with that daughter of yours"

"So what happened?" Shinichiro asked curiously

"She said she likes me too"

"Wait- really??! Knew it!!"

"How will we tell Mikey and Emma?" Izana asked thinking how they would explain it to them

"Trust me they already know.."

"huh?"

"Mikey is a curious person...he probably told his conclusions to Emma already" Shinichiro chuckled

"Damn, Inui liked Y/n..." Wakasa mumbled leaning on Shinichiro's bike

"Anyways... what about the gang? Are they ready?"
Takeomi asked with his cigarette

"Tenjiku's ready... we already found their main hideout" Kakucho sat down beside Izana

"Tomorrow 9.. we'll go talk to him... if he refuse then we'll go all out" Shinichiro spoke with his voice much more serious than ever.

"Y/n... I'll protect you no matter what" Izana mumbled. It's the only thing he could think of for making it up to her from his father killing her mom.

I'll be by your side 'till the end.. even if it cost me my life
