And Still I Rise

The next day i was woken up to Renata urging me to get up, i was still unaware of what was happening due to me heing half asleep while being awake.

"Today is the trial, you are to be presented in the throne room in an hour to testify."

My heart sank to my stomach ... I did not want this day to come ... Especially not so quickly. I listened to Renata's advice, i woke up and took a shower, i put on a black dress with a sweetheart neckline and black flats. Renata put my hair up in a bun while jane did my natural make up look.

I looked really beautiful once i saw myself in the mirror but not as beautiful as the other vampires surrounding me, however i was really beautiful for a human.

We walked down to the throne room, on our way to the throne room i was nervous to finally face off aro after he ghosted me for many day's after that night. He broke me. He led me to believe that he had actually cared for me and loved me but as soon as he saw that i was wrapped around his fingers he left me.

As we were about to enter the throne room i shaked off my mixed feelings and emotions that i held against Aro and we pushed open the doors and entered. I expected it to just be the four eliete guards being Jane, Alec, Demetri, and Felix plus Renata and the three kings but i was wrong. Instead, the whole volturi guard being higher and lower ranking guards were present and the kings were siting in their thrones.

I looked over at renata and she gently whispered

"I'm very sorry Michelle i should've probably warned you about all the guards being present."

I just nodded as i gently squeezed her hand and we made our way to the side lines where everyone stood. Caius eyed me while i felt Aro's gaze on me but i decided not to look or even ackno him.

"Bring in them in."

Caius announced as Felix, Demetri, Santiago and other guards brought the seven lower guards plus Matthias in. They were all kneeled down the masters at the center begging for forgiveness.

"You are all in here today because you've been accussed of harming one upcomming new guard who was under the protection of sir Aro Volturi. You Matthias have been accused of attempted Rape against  Michelle Swan."

Caius sneered from his throne.

"Before we get started, do you have something to say for yourself Matthias?"

Matthias looked over at me, he seemed angered with me ... i could see it in his eyes that he had lots of hate builded up against me and that freaked me out. 

"She is no victum she seduced me to her bedroom. She dressed provecetably!"

He growled my way, as soon as he said those words Aro rose from his throne and made his way towards Matthias. His eye's never left matthias and his beautiful ruby eyes turned dark ... He then ripped matthias arm off and Matthias hauled in pain.

That made me take a step back and i couldn't help it but burst into tears, i hid in renata's arms and she soothed me until i could remain calm.
