"The deal was two passports," Nicole said, looking at Wynonna. "Is that yours?"

Wynonna nodded. "Where's my sister's Pete?"

"Please, my name Max. It will take time. The price fifty."

"Thirty for two," Nicole pressed. "Two passports, or no deal."

Max reached out to take Wynonna's passport from her, Wynonna holding onto it. "No way José, Pete, Max, whoever you are. I keeps. Your turn."

Max casually pulled a pistol from inside his jacket. "My turn."

Wynonna handed it back. "So need Peacemaker. When?"

"For two five days. Fifty is good, yes."

"Fuck you," Nicole hissed. "We can get emergency passports in Cairo, so you can go-"

"Essam not sign. No sign, no bye bye from here."

Nicole was now standing. "We're fucking Americans. Whatever BS this is we're not playing, or paying. We don't need your cousin's signature, we don't need to trade, and you can go fuck yourself."

Wynonna was now clapping. "Bravo. Well played. But, seriously Maxi boy, don't screw with us."

Max lowered his gun. "I like you."

"Good for you, Max," Wynonna replied. "So, passports. Where are we?"

About to answer Max's phone rang, taking the call while holding up one finger to pause their negotiation. The group had no way of knowing what was being discussed, other than Max kept nodding, repeating a phrase, presumably agreeing with whoever was speaking. The call over, Max's eyes were now on Waverly, his mouth forming a mocking smile, his eyes twinkling. "No fifty. I take stone. You give stone I give passports. New deal, yes."

Waverly gasped. "Max, I can't. Please, I just need the passports you promised."

"I have buyer. He give two million dollars."

Wynonna's mouth opened, wide eyes staring at Max. "Two...two! For a stone. Did I hear right?"

"It doesn't matter how much is being offered," Waverly countered. "It's not for sale. I mean...I mean I don't have it."

Max's brow furrowed, the gun resting on his lap. "Perhaps he give three. Good deal, yes."

"It's not mine to sell. Plus, I don't have it."

"You lie."

Waverly glanced momentarily at Nicole, returning her gaze to Max, staring at him without blinking. "Whoever broke into the tomb last night has it."

Max extracted a cigarette from the packet on the table, taking his time to light it. Exhaling smoke as he placed his lighter down he waved the lit stick between his fingers. "I think you have."

"This is impossible. I repeat, I do not have what you want. I cannot get what you want. I only want the passports. I'll get you the fifty, okay. Fifty is the deal."

"I change mind. You get stone I give passports. Good deal, yes."

"This is fucking hopeless," Nicole said, standing. "We're out of here."

Nicole was already marching towards the exit, the others following. "I knew it. I fucking knew this would happen."

"Pretty much," Wynonna replied, catching up. "However, it tells us one thing. Waverly's magical marble thingy is still out there, somewhere. If only we could get our hands on it."

"Wyn, I'm not giving that guy what he wants."

"Which you don't have and doesn't exist. Three million bucks though."
