Fae woke up the next morning feeling slightly tired. The night before was still replaying in her head. Fae really wanted to believe her brother, but she also really wanted to believe her mother wasn't some lying 'mon.

Fae opened her eyes and blinked up at the ceiling, frowning. She brought her paws closer to her, feeling quite small. She clambered out of her bed, and decided to start her day.

She padded into the kitchen and saw Eon, Neri, Izar, Fergus, Mauve, and Ezekiel. "Good morning, everyone. How'd you sleep?" She asked cheerfully. She ignored the fighting happening between Neri, Mauve, and Izar. Thinking about it would just make her nervous anyways.

Mauve turned to her with a brilliant smile that was hiding her agitation. "Oh, I slept fine, Fae. Thanks for asking. Though, no one instructed me on where I was to go. I kept bumping into walls. I just listed a complaint to the manager, but she seems to be a Jynx instead of a Jolteon." Mauve insulted.

Fae tilted her head. She was confused. Izar still looked like a Jolteon, so how could she be a Jynx. This was the first time that Mauve, Fergus, and Neri were allowed to sleep inside the house in a long time. Unfortunately it seemed to make them tense and Mauve didn't seem to remember where to put her purple Vaporeon paws.

Fae sighed, wishing it didn't have to be like this. It made her mom the bad guy. Neri was the first to leave the nest, but did Izar really have to treat her daughter's boyfriend and the male's sister so poorly? She already treated her own son like shit when he made claims about the outside world which seemed preposterous. Which, now that Fae thought about it: why was questioning how bad the world was truly a thing to be scorned about?

"Oh," Fae remarked. She glanced outside, seeing snow beginning to fall down on the ground. She pointed with a paw. "Hey, it's snowing!" She exclaimed in joy. Eon joined her, his red gaze following snowflakes as they traveled across the sky and landed on the ground.

"Yeah. You see how they are freely falling down? It's quite the sight. I'm glad I decided to search for you and my family." He yipped as his tongue splay out of his mouth. Fae nodded.

Mauve and Fergus joined them. Mauve angled her ears towards the window. "I can sure hear them alright." She yipped. Eon helped Fergus with his wheelchair placement as the Espeon glanced out the window. "Wow! Snow has always been a very pretty thing." He stated.

"Anyways," Mauve began, "Mrs. Izar here was about to get breakfast started, weren't you?" She sounded a bit annoyed and aggressive as she asked it. She shot the Jolteon a glare briefly before she relaxed her features. Izar growled. "Yes," she said through strained teeth. "I was just about to make eggs and Cinnamon rolls."

Fae's smile widened. "Ooh!" She tumbled. She really liked cinnamon rolls. "Can't wait!" She cheered as her body vibrated. Could she really wait this long for breakfast? Of course she could! Fae spied her mother smiling briefly before she opened the fridge, reached in, and carefully wrapped her paws around the cartoon of eggs. Then, her yellow-and-spiked furred Jolteon mother closed the fridge door before opening the freeze and grabbing the beautifully frozen rolls of dough.

After a few minutes of baking cinnamon rolls Fae's ears twitched as she heard a noise. At first, she ignored it. She heard the sound again. It was a slow movement, as if stalking something purposeful. Of course. Fae rolled her eyes. She heard the floor creak and a huff of frustration followed as Fae heard shuffling.

She snorted. Her siblings were weird. They had something called 'pooblic school' or something of the sorts. Fae felt proud to be taught by her mother. Her siblings always came back with homework. She got hers done right away. Or that's what happened when she was homeschooled. She still saw a couple Eevee bring back schoolwork.
