"I would like to thank you personally for coming to rescue us, despite what we did to your village. I  hope Corvus will be punished appropriately." The sickly green Braixen remarked as he spun around to smile at them with his paws behind his back. His stick was in his tail.

Eon lifted a finger. "About that," the midnight Pokémon began nervously. It was a farfetched idea to begin with.

"Corvus wasn't exactly in the right state of mine." Eon continued.

"What do you mean by that scarfed-Eeveelution?" The green Braixen wondered with a slight frown. "Was it the doing of one of his allies this whole time?"

Eon nodded.

The green Braixen nodded in understanding. "Ah I see. Gothita are known to have the move Hypnosis. If only used once it puts an opponent to sleep, but used more than once..." the green Braixen trailed off shivering.

"Anyways, I would like to official welcome you guys into this village. If there is anything we can ever do to repay you, let us know."

The green Braixen bowed. His eyes lifted up slightly to gaze at them.

"Oh, no. Nothing is needed. We're just glad to assist." Eon dismissed with a smile, flicking his paw.

"How noble of you." The green Braixen responded. "However, I can see that is not the case. What do you want?" The Braixen barked.

His body was straightened and he stared expectantly at the group. Was it that obvious they wanted them to make peace? Though, they would hav e gladly helped either way. By helping the Fennekin Tribe, they were also helping the Eevee tribe a little by helping them make amends—or at least that's what Fae prayed would happen.

Nobody spoke for a minute until Neri spoke up.

She cleared her throat. "Ahem. Yes actually."

"Lay it on me."

"Well, it's more difficult than just a simple favor. You see—it's hard to ask this of you, but we would really like it if you made amends and became friends with the Eevee tribe. At least, stopped the war you have going on with them. Please." Neri begged, though the way she worded it sounded awkward.

The green Braixen froze in place for a moment. He was unable to respond. He found the ground very appealing.

"..."

"Mr. Braixen?" Neri questions, reaching out a paw towards the shiny Jolteon-colored middle stage. The Braixen groaned slightly, seizing hold of his stick.

He smacked Neri with the stick. Neri let out a slight wail, hoping backwards on three of her paws, but regained her footing easily as the spin softened. "Preposterous! I can't do that! It's not under my power this can happen! Only the elder Delphoxes can accept this ridiculous request! We've been at war with them for years on end!"

Fae's eyes widened. They've been at war for years? Was that even possible?

She could understand if the green Braixen was unable to help, but hearing they've been at war for years on end? Maybe these Pokémon were as evil as the Eevee Village portrayed.

But...even so, there must be reason. Fae was willing it. They couldn't just attack Eevee after Eevee—Fennekin after Fennekin—all for nothing. So if there was a reason, what could it be?

It wasn't really Fae's business, so she didn't pry. After all, it was just a thought.

"Couldn't you just speak to your leaders, then? Ask them what they think. It may sound preposterous to you, but maybe it's a better way. Instead of hating each other and fighting how about you actually talk to one another and try to be understanding?" Fergus popped in, obviously confused on why it couldn't be so simple.
