Chapter 7

Callies POV

Tonight was girls night! Barbera is going to watch paisley for the night and Arizona, April, Teddy, Jo, Addison and I are going out to Joes, it's been a while since we have all been together

Mark is supposed to show up but if he is with his girl toy it won't happen

Arizona and I were at work now and i just finished a consultation on a sprained wrist, 36 year old fell off of a hoverboard, those things are dangerous

Once I did her I headed back to my office to catch up on the paperwork I had been putting off

I gave the work to an intern originally but I hated they way they did it so I have to go back and redo all of my last charts

I finished about 3 quarters of the work and I got paged down to the daycare

I put my things down and quickly made my way down there

"Hey, Michelle I was paged?" I ask the lead daycare worker

"Yea, sorry about that but we're having trouble calming Paisley down and Dr.Robbins is in surgery" she says and I nod

"Where is she?" I ask and she takes me to an empty nursery with another worker swaying back and forth with a crying Paisley

"Mommy!" She cries and reaches for me when she sees me, she had tears coming down her face and immediately Buried her head into my neck

"I'll go ahead and sign her out for now" I tell Her and she nods and hands me a pen

Once I got all of Paisleys things i took her back to my office while the entire time she was crying

"Bug, look at me," I say softly sitting down on the couch in my office with her in my lap

"What's got my baby so upset?" I ask her and she shakes her head against my chest, knowing she wasn't going to talk anytime soon i started bouncing my kneee slightly and rubbing circles on her back

"Mommy" she whines and I kiss the top of her head And she pulls at my shirt

Knowing that her pacifier would easily calm her down and seeing as all other attempts failed i got up and took the emergency one out of her bag and gave it to her

Her cries slowly stopped until she just hiccuping against my chest

"Now tell mommy what's wrong" I say

"I wanted you an Momma" she says and I sigh but smile

"You did all this just cause you missed us? You just seen us this morning" I chuckle and she shrugs and my office door opens and Arizona walks in

"Momma" Paisley says and reached for Arizona who rubs her back and Paisley lays her head on Arizona's shoulder

Not even 5 minutes later she was out

"What happened? As soon as I scrubbed out I went to the daycare but they said you already got her" she ask me and she sits down next to me and holds Paisley in her arms

"She just said she missed us" I say and she frowns and kisses Paisleys head

"I hope she isn't getting sick, she is always extra clingy when she is" Arizona mentions

"You weren't feeling the best either, it might just be a little virus going around" I tell her and she nods

"Yea you're probably right" she says and I look over at the clock on my desk realizing I have a surgery in half an hour
