Chapter 8

Arizona's POV

Callie and I didn't even make it home until 3 am this morning, last time we were awake that late our daughter had been teething and was up all night,

I woke up and checked my phone and seen that it was already past 10, and I regretted it as soon as I did it.

I was met with a migraine as soon as I rolled over and had to get up quick before I vomited all over the bed

I made it to the bathroom in time and sat down next to the toilet, realizing I was only wearing my panties,

"Arizona?" I heard Callie groan and follow me into the bathroom a few seconds later

"Water?" She ask and I nod, she quickly got one of our small cups and filled it with water handing it to me

"How come you're not on the floor?" I ask, a little hurt she could handle her liquor better than I could

"For starters I stopped drinking an hour and a half before you did and stuck to water" she chuckles

"It's not funny" I groan, leaning my head over the toilet once more

After I was able to stop puking my guts out for a few minutes Callie helped me up and gave me some of Advil which I quickly took

"We're getting old" I pout, laying on the bed

"Speak for yourself" Callie laughs

"I miss my baby" I say, and she kisses my head

"Me too, but we will go get her once you stop acting like a zombie" she chuckles and I just roll my eyes in response

"Where are my clothes?" I ask and she looks around

"I don't even know where mine are"'she says and I smile and she lays down with me and I put my head on her chest

"What time you want to get Paisley?" She ask

"Now?" I question, I really miss my baby

"Let's get you sobered up first" she chuckles

"Fine" I smile and drink the rest of a water bottle she had gotten me

Around 12 we were leaving to go get Paisley, I felt worse now than I did this morning. But it wasn't a hungover type of worse

"You want me to go get her? You can stay and rest" Callie says

"No I'm fine," I smile

"Okay," she says hesitantly and we get in the car and she drives us to my parents house

When we got to my parents house we both quickly made our way inside

"Momma! Mommy!" Paisley exclaims from the high chair

"Get me out" she says trying to move

"Hold on a second " I chuckle and walk over taking her impatient self out of the high chair and she wrapped her arms around me

"I missed you bug" I say and she giggles

"Did you have fun?" I ask and she nods

"Lots! , we made cookies!" She says happily

"Well I'm glad" I smile and walk over to my parents

"Thank you for watching her" I tell them

"Oh of course, We needed the extra time with our grand baby" she smiles and takes paisley to tell her goodbyes
