Callies POV

Arizona's parents, Paisley and I were still in her office and it was past dinner time, they were still in surgery and I couldn't bring myself to check on updates,

Paisley stayed content in my lap the entire time on my phone, Barbara tried to take her a couple times so I could have a little breather but each time she cried and clung to me

"Mommy" Paisley says and I looks down at her and smile, she's perfect, she's everything

"I hungry" she says and I notice it is past dinner time and it's been a while since she ate

"You want to come with Grammy to get some dinner?" Barbara offers her

"No, stay with mommy" she says

"I'll be here when you get back, go get some dinner bug" I tell her and she lets Barbara take her from me and the three of them leave me alone in Arizona's office. The first time I am alone since everything and I let myself feel it

The actual fear of losing my Bestfriend. I mean I know she is going to pull through, she is strong and and is a fighter, always has been. But it's still scary,

Once Paisley and her grandparents got back she fell asleep in my arms until around midnight when she woke up again, she usually sleeps through the night so I know she is still nervous about Arizona

My mind would not shut off, I felt like I needed to scream or cry and I couldn't do that. Barbera had noticed and her and Daniel took paisley for a walk around the hospital

I sat alone in her office until I heard a knock on the door,

"Come in" I say and Bailey walks in with Amelia, here it is, here's the part where they tell me they did everything but couldn't save her

"Callie" Amelia says, snapping me out of my trance

"She's okay, surgery went very well and her she is just in recovery" she smiles and I let the tears fall, she's alright, I still have my Bestfriend

"Can I see her?" I ask and they nod, getting into the hallway I seen Daniel, Barbara and Paisley coming towards me

"She's okay" I tell them and they smile

"That's great news" her dad says

"I was just about to see her, can you keep her for a little longer?" I ask and they nod

"No mommy, I come with you" Paisley fights and tried to get down

"Bug listen to mommy, you have to stay with Grammy, and I'll be back soon" I say and she starts crying

"She'll be okay callie, go see Zona" they tell me and I nod, I kissed her head and followed Amelia and Bailey up to Arizona's room where she lay asleep in the bed, she wasn't on a breathing tube which is already a good sign

"When do you think she will wake up?" I ask

"Honestly in the next two hours, if everything goes as planned she can go home soon, but will have to Stay resting, I get that's hard because of the baby but if she wants to go home it's what is going to have to happen" Amelia tells me and I nod

"Yea of course"'I say and kiss Arizona's hand

"Bailey this goes without saying but I'm going to need some time off" I explain and she nods

"Of course, how ever much you need" she smiles

"We'll leave you alone, just page when she wakes up" Amelia says and they both leave the room
