Chapter 17

Callies POV

It's finally the weekend meaning Arizona and I both have off.

I think we had just planned to stay in, besides a little grocery shopping.

"Mmm, good morning" Arizona mumbles and lays her head on my chest

"Good morning my love" I smile

"What time did you want to head out?" I ask

"After breakfast. Hopefully less people" she says  and I nod

Not long after Paisley woke up and Arizona went to get her while I made some coffee. We planned on going out for breakfast then going to the store

"Look at you!" I exclaim and Paisley runs over to me happily with her arms up

"Mommy!" She squeals

"Good morning bug, did you sleep good?" I ask, resting her on my hip and filling we cup with apple juice

"Yea mommy" she smiles

"Thank you" she says and takes her cup from me

"Did momma tell you we are going to the store?" I ask and put her down

"Get toys?" She ask and I chuckle

"Maybe. If you're really really good" I smile and she nods

"I be good!" She says and walks over to the door and brings me back her shoes

"Oh you really want that toy huh?" Arizona ask and paisley nods and smiles as Arizona helps her out her shoes you

"You have to wait until me and mommy get dressed first" Arizona says and paisley nods, taking her cup and climbing onto the couch

Arizona and I made sure she was okay before going up to our room so we could get dressed

Once we were finished we went back downstairs and Paisley was still in the same spot we had left her in

"Done now?" She ask and slides off the couch to come over to us

"Yea, we're done. Let's go" I smile and lift her up so I could take her out and put her In her car seat

"Am I driving?" I ask and Arizona just smiles and kisses me

"Oh I see how it is" I chuckle and get into the drivers side

"Momma I play your phone?" Paisley ask

"Not right now bug" Arizona tells her

"Mommy I play your phone?"she ask me

"Not right now." I tell her and she sighs audibly

"We will be there soon" I tell her and she plays with the toys we keep in the car

10 minutes later we pulled up to a small diner

"We at the store?" Paisley ask as I was getting her out of the car

"No, we are getting breakfast first" I say

"But mommy you said toy" she frowns

"And you will get one if you listen" I say and she nods

We walked into the diner and sat in a corner booth and a waitress brought us over Menus and gave paisley a coloring page

"Thank you!" She squeals and picks up one of the crayons

"You're welcome sweetie, what can I get you guys to drink?" She ask us

"Coffee, cream and sugar please" Arizona tells her and I get the same
