Nagising ako sa ingay ng alarm ko, I don't have work today, kasi who makes sense naman kung kakarating mo lang sa bahay mo and mag wo-work na agad. Tumayo na ako sa higaan ko at tumungo na sa kitchen at agad ng gumawa ng coffee sa coffee machine. Nag lagay na ako ng capsule at nag ready ng mug, nag pindot na ako ng 'start' button at nag umpisa na itong gumawa ng kape, nung natapos ito, kinuha ko ang coffee mug ko at linagay sa table, tinabi ko ito sa gilid at binuksan ang laptop ko. May nakita akong may nag email saakin kaya naman tinignan ko kung ano ito.

"New biologist?" Sabi ko sa sarili ko nung binasa ko ang email ni Mrs. Edith, ang aking boss. Tumayo ako at kinuha ang phone ko sa kwarto ko at nag text kay Eric, isa sa mga co-workers ko and nasa team ko din.

Gabriella: I received an email from Mrs. Edith, she said there will be a new biologist coming in our team, I want you to tell the whole team to welcome the new member. I can't make it for 2 days, I still need rest. Thank you.

Pinatay ko na ang phone ko at hinayaan lang sa kama at tumungo na sa mesa ko at ininom ang kape ko. Tumingin ako sa window ko habang hawak ko ang green coffee mug ko at tinignan ang view, binuksan ko ang bintana at pinasok ang malamig na hangin. I miss this... this cold wind... I made an oath to myself, to never go back to him. I was so broken when he chose someone else than me, when he lied to me, betrayed me... pinikit ko nalang yung mata ko at sinubukan ipigil ang mga nangyari noon. Inubos ko na ang coffee ko at naligo na. Nag palit na ako ng damit, of course susuot ko ang favorite dark green coat ko, naka jeans at green sweather ako. Lumabas na ako sa pintuan at sinara ito sa susi ko, linagay ko ang susi ko sa bag ko at tumungo na sa elevator para bumaba. I put my headphones ko at nag on ng bluetooth at nag patugtog sa Spotify ko. Pumunta ako sa near by park at nag lakad habang tumitingin sa mga puno and just enjoying the view.
