"Mommy!" Narinig kong may tumawag saakin. Lumingon ako sa gilid ko at may nakita na maliit na lalake na kahawig ang mukha ni Edward kaso kulot ang kaniyang buhok. "Yes baby?" Sabi ko sakaniya. Meet Jack Collins, my dear beloved son. "When will I get to see my friends again?" Sabi niya, nasa airport kami ngayon at paalis na sa Pilipinas. "Soon honey." Sabi ko sakaniya at inayos ang buhok niya at linagay na ang seatbelt niya. "When is soon mommy?" Tanong niya. "I don't know dear, but I promised, you and your friends will meet again." Sabi ko sakaniya at hinalikan ang noo niya. "Where are we going now?" Tanong niya. "To daddy." Sabi ko. Nasa Australia si Edward at doon na kami nag settle down nung nag pakasal kami, doon ko ka din dinala sila mama at lolo. I am living a nice life. A loving mother, and grandfather who always stood for me like a father. My loving friends who never left me and always stick with me through up and downs. My husband who loves me for who I am. I have received all the blessings in this world, but God gave me another blessing. And that is Jack. My son.

My life may not came good from the beginning. But it came fruitful once you move forward and do good things and try to changed those around you.

Even when life throws you down. Whatever traumas you might have. Keep on giving. Be generous not just to others but yourself. Don't let the past rob you of who you are and what you meant to be. Don't lose sight of who you are. The past will not define you.

Keep on giving. For those that have hurt you. Turn the other cheek. And let the spite, hurt and hatred bloom into something beautiful like Green Carnation Flower.
