Kingsley came out of the interrogation room feeling a bit lightheaded. The intense lengthy questioning was torture for both parties. Not leaving any breathing room for the other party meant not leaving any breathing room for yourself either.

While those on the field were still trying to gather more evidence, those in the interrogation room – both the grilled and the griller – were playing mind games. Based on expression and tone, the two sides were constantly deceiving and assessing one another. The knowledge that your superiors were just outside didn't help.

Seeing the tall policewoman outside the door, he saluted, "Captain Lin"

"Continue with the interrogation." Her eyes narrowed. "Focus more on their Boss John. I want to know everything about him."

Kingsley, who was planning to take a short nap, could only rub his panda eyes and shout, "Yes, ma'am" before trotting back into the interrogation room.

Lin Mengmeng headed back to her office to look through the files of the girls again. Every evidence pointed that it was a trafficking case but she couldn't shake the feeling that she was missing something.

"Excuse me." A voice interrupted him. A young man was standing a few meters away from him. He had wavy honey-blond hair tied into a side tail. He was already 5,8 and looked extremely slender like a slight shove could push him to the ground. Raizel was not surprised to see him, the young man had been hovering around his vicinity for the past three minutes.

The reason he was staring at him was his aura. Raizel had not seen such a murderous aura in anybody since he woke up. His bone age was less than 25 and he was in the late stage of the Dao Budding realm, a good seedling.

Austin smiled warmly at Raizel and began to say in an embarrassed tone, "Some of my friends and I decided to visit the dead forest for some fun. I left for a reason."

At this, he blushed accordingly before continuing, "It's been 3 hours but I have not seen any of them. Mister, have you seen anyone."

"I have not." Raizel said, deciding it was time to leave. He summoned his sword, mounted it and left without looking back.

Austin stared at his back without chasing him. The man was not lying. Austin sighed, he should have taken another route and avoided this matter entirely. But the fastest way to get to Sein City was through the dead forest.

Due to this, he was now in a backward town searching for traces of a low life group of people. The audacity!

If he should find any of them, he would send them back to reincarnate. His eyes flashed with a thick murderous intent.

The light from the windows flooded into the room, its glaring light was harsh to Raizel's eyes. Raizel was stunned to see the daybreak.

He had booked a room and a meal at the hotel before he decided to go through his mobile phone. He had entered Tide and the next thing he knows it is morning. When its battery got low, he charged it and continued pressing the phone.

His eyes moved to the box-like device in his hands and felt a chill. He quickly threw it into his storage ring. His belief was that out of sight equals out of mind.

He couldn't begin to imagine how destructive this device would be to the discipline of young cultivators. Even he had fallen into its thrall.

But thanks to it, he understood so much about the world. It had changed so much. His eyelashes fluttered. Many people, so many people were gone.
