chapter two;
the one with the truth

AVEN WOKE up feeling happy, now she is always smiling but this time it's different. She knew from the moment she opened her eyes that today will be a good day.

"Aven, are you awake?" She heard her mother's voice

"Yes mother i'm awake" Aven replied
yawning

"Well honey go take a shower and get dressed we have something to tell you"
Arabella smiled as she ruffled her daughters hair causing her to scrunch her nose

"Okay mom" Aven said standing up and picked her clothes and went straight to the bathroom

"Aven, come have breakfast sweetheart "
Marcus called for her daughter

"Coming dad" Aven replied with a smile

"Okay, here's breakfast for you" Arabella said putting her daughter's breakfast in the table

"Thanks mom" Aven thanked her as she took a bite of her eggs, until she realized that her siblings were not having breakfast with her

"Where's the others?" Aven asked looking at her parents

"They already ate and we have something to tell you so we just thought that it would be better if we asked you privately" Marcus said replying his daughter

"Oh, what is it that you want to ask me?" Aven asked her face full of curiosity

"Well, remember when you asked me about magic and all of that?"
Arabella asked softly

"Oh yeah i remember maybe because it was yesterday so" Aven jokingly replied and her parents just chuckled at their daughter

"Well this might be confusing but,our family was actually a part of the wizarding world" Arabella explained and Aven jaw dropped

"What do you mean?" Aven asked looking at her parents, her eyes begging for more explanation

Aven's parents explained what happened to their family and all Aven was confused.

It explains why sometimes she would move objects without her actually moving it, but she thought that she was just going crazy, or how one time she messed around and said alohamora and her door opened on it self.

"Wait so what you're saying is that, you're a witch and you're a wizard" Aven asked her parents who nodded

"Okay wow, this is uhm alot" Aven said as her mind is still trying to comprehend what her parents just told her

"Wait does that mean i can go to one of those schools too?" Aven asked with hope in her eyes

"Well speaking of that we got something from you" Marcus said smiling while walking to the living room to grab the envelope and gave it to his daughter

"What is this?" Aven asked confused

"Read it sweetheart" Marcus replied

"Yeah, well obviously" Aven smiled and read the envelope

"Miss Aven Celestia Cross 2nd floor white house sweetland" Aven read the envelope thinking about how they know her adress
but ignore it and opened the envelope to see a letter

"Dear Miss Cross we are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts Witchcraft and Wizardry" Aven read the rest of the letter and her eyes are now wide with excitement

"IM GOING TO HOGWARTS?" Aven yelled smiling

"Calm down honey" Arabella said laughing at her daughter

"Do you want to go to hogwarts?" Marcus asked his daughter who's still in shock

"YES" Aven replied and her parents looked at eachother and smiled

Aven went to diagon alley with her parents after her parents explained what happened to her siblings.

Her siblings were confused and shocked but none of them feel sad that they didn't get a letter to Hogwarts since none of them really had any interest about magic, well except for Emillio who hoped that he can go next year.

Aven bought a pet owl and named them Rain. She went to Olivanders to get her wand, she got a Vine wood with a dragon heartstring core, 11 ½ and quite bendy flexibility.

She walked back to search for her mom, but she bumped into someone.

"I am so sorry" The person said but stopped when he saw Aven

"No it's okay, i wasn't looking where i was going" Aven apologized smiling

"I'm Sirius, Sirius black" Sirius introduced himself as he offered her a handshake

"Aven, Aven Cross" Aven replied and shaked his hand

"Oh there you are honey i was worried" Arabella sighed in relief as she saw her daughter with a boy

"And who might this gentleman be?" Marcus asked trying to sound not overprotective

"His name is Sirius Black dad" Aven replied smiling,and her parents eyes widened

"I know what you're thinking, but don't worry i'm not like my family. I'm not into blood supremacy, i honestly think my family are dumb and stupid" Sirius explained and Aven's parents relaxed as Aven just stood there confuse with the conversation.

"Well i better get going, my parents are going to be mad if i'm late. Hope i get to see you at kings cross or Hogwarts, Aven" Sirius smiled and he said goodbye to Aven's parents and walked away.

The three Cross family members went back and Aven asked her parents about why they tensed up when Sirius introduced himself.

Her parents explained how his family are blood supremacist and all that stuff, Aven is very sure that Sirius is different from his family. Well atleast she hoped he's different.
