THE DAY of the yule ball is finally here. Everyone's very happy, not only because they'll dance with their dates tonight but also because don't have any lesson for today. Since the dance is still at night, they have plenty of time to get ready. The students decided that they won't see their dates until the dance. Which killed Sirius, he kept whining like a baby which is pretty sweet but also annoying.
"I want to see Aven" Sirius whined
"You can't do that Pads" James patted his mate's back
"Why did we agree to the rule anyways?"
"Because...." Peter trailed off
"Yeah i have no bloody idea why" Remus shrugged
The four of them are in their dorms prepping for the ball. They decided to wear face masks so their skin will glow. And they even put on the sunscreen that Aven gave them.
The girls did the same thing, they put on face masks, painted their nails, basically doing everything that the boys also did.
"What are you going to do with your hair Ave?" Sofia asked
"I'm probably just going to curl it and pin half of it" Aven shrugged
"Lils can you curl my hair?" Aven asked with puppy dog eyes
"Sure" Lily giggled
"Do you think i should wear a necklace or not?" Alice asked
"Wear it Al, you'll look good" Dorcas replied the others agreeing
After Lily curled Aven's hair, Aven thanked her and offered Lily to do her hair
"You want me to curl your hair?" Aven asked her friend
"Yes please" Lily nodded
"Lils who are you going with anyways?" Marlene questioned the girl
"Severus" Lily replied
"Why didn't you just go with James? Now i'm stuck with the boy" Sofia whined
"You could've been my date" Marlene muttered lowly
"What's that Marls?" Sofia looked at her
"Nothing" Marlene smiled
"Lils, can i ask you a question?" Aven asked
"Yeah"
"Why don't you like James back?"
"I don't know, he's kind and nice and all, but i just don't think i'm ready for a relationship. He's just so ready for a relationship and i'm not. And i'm just scared that i'll break his heart you know" Lily explained
