FOURTEEN

chapter fourteen;
the one with all the love

AFTER SO MANY BETS, somehow Aven won another bet that the group made yet again. The bet was who could read the longest, it was hard for James and Sirius. They actually didn't even last a day. Because of spending 5 days of reading, Aven was tired.

"You look charming" Peter sarcastically said as he sat down in front of Aven

"I do, huh" Aven mumbled putting her head down

"You look like shit" James snickered sitting down next to Peter

"Fuck off, Stag" Aven flipped him off causing James to laugh and threw a strawberry at Aven

"You look tired" Remus chuckled, though his voice showed he was concerned

"Mhm" Aven mumbled

"You look sleepy" Sirius sat down next to Aven

"Is this commenting on Aven's looks day or something?" Aven looked up with a tired smile

"That's everyday love" Sirius smirked, Aven could only roll her eyes with a smile

They talked for a bit while eating, but Aven wasn't completely there. Physically she was there, but mentally, well she was everywhere but there.

"Guys come on it's Snivellus time" James clapped his hands

"Oh God" Aven sighed

"Don't worry Star, i'll look after them" Remus promised, patting Aven's shoulder

"No you won't" James muttered

"What was that?" Aven asked

"Nothing" James said with an innocent smile

"You guys are idiots" Aven shook her head

"That's true" Peter agreed

"But we're your idiots and there's nothing you can do about it" Sirius winked

"Yeah yeah whatever" Aven chuckled

Then the four boys started to walk away from her, but before they could take another step, Aven stopped them.

"Aren't you guys forgetting something?" Aven raised her eyebrow

"Uhm" they looked at each other

James stepped forward to kiss Aven's forehead and was followed by Remus and Peter, and lastly Sirius who kissed her on the cheek and on the forehead.

The whole Gryffindor table and a few students from other houses were all looking at them, especially McGonagall.

The four of them walked away, and Aven just frozed trying to process what just happened. McGonagall smiled at this and as for the other students, they were laughing, but in a good way.

"You idiots i meant the money!" Aven yelled

They pretended to not hear her and walked away.

"WE LOVE YOU AVEN" The four of them yelled, walking backwards with a smile

"Dumbasses" Aven shook her head as she smiled

"So halloween's coming up" Sofia reminded as the group of friends sat down on the common room's sofa

"Oh yeah, what are you lot gonna dress up as?" Dorcas asked

"I honestly don't know" Aven sighed, still tired from the bet

"You can dress up as my girlfriend" Sirius winked before smirking at her

Aven rolled her eyes playfully as the others whistled and cheered.

"And what would your fans say about that?" Aven grinned

"Well they would be disappointed obviously," Sirius pointed

"But they will understand why, because come on, you're Aven" Sirius added

"Is that a compliment?" Aven questioned

"Indeed it is" Sirius nodded with a grin

"Well then thankyou for compliment, Mr. Black"

"My pleasure, Miss Cross"

"You'll give her pleasure" Marlene muttered smirking and Sofia snickered, seeing as she was the only one who heard her

"You both know that we're still here right?" Remus chuckled

"And some of us are hopeless in romance" James mumbled so Lily won't hear him

"Oh we know" Sirius replied

"That's the only reason we're doing it" Aven took a sip of her drink

"You okay?" Someone startled Aven who was sitting on the grass

"Fuck" Aven cursed

"I hate you so much" Aven dramatically gasped looking at Sirius

"You know you love me" Sirius scoffed sitting down next to her

"Yeah sure" Aven rolled her eyes

"You didn't answer my question"

"Beause that question is boring" Aven shrugged

"Yeah that's true" Sirius laughed

"But really though are you and okay?"

"I'm always okay"

"How's your dad?" Sirius asked squinting his eye at her

"He's uhm, i don't know" Aven bitterly laughed

"They haven't sent any letters whatsoever for months, but i'm sure they're just busy"

"Have you talked to Milo?" Sirius asked, his tone was soft

"Yeah, but there's nothing much to talk about, seeing as there isn't any letter to talk about" Aven took a deep breath

"Well no matter what i'll always be there for you" Sirius promised, putting his arms around Aven's shoulder

"I know you will Maxi Pads" Aven chuckled and laid her head at Sirius' shoulder

"And that's it" Sirius stood up like a child

"What's wrong Maxi Pads" Aven teased

"I hate you" Sirius huffed

"No you don't"

"No i don't"

Sirius sat down and put his arms around Aven's shoulders again. The two of them stayed there until McGonagall scolded them for being out there and not inside.
