chapter 21: determination

Third POV

The memory of his youngest dream made Sasuke wonder if it had changed since the last time he saw her, her attitude surely did.
But no one knew her current dream.
So Sasuke wondered if she still wished to make him proud

A sudden tremble ripped through Sayuki's being . 'its close , I feel it'

She thought to herself .

Remembering her friends words she knew she had only a few hours left, that I'm mind the girl simply said

"Now that you've gotten what you wanted, I going , I have a battle to prepare for."
Sayuki said

Making Sarada clench her fist , 'how could a stupid fight be more important , she said she hated her family'  thought Sarada

But before anyone could say anything Sayuki left

'Fine then! I will win our fight tomorrow and prove to you that you need us , that we love you and that there is no need for all this hatred but most of all I will prove to you that I AM the stronger sibling'

Sarada thought determination , that's all she felt .

Sayuki's POV

After I left I headed to the secluded training area

Do I have enough chakra stream for the both of you?

"Yes this should be enough."

"Now it's time for your training"
nodded my head
Sat crisscrossed on the floor, entwined my fingers together and took a deep breath ..

Third POV

The uchiha family arrived at their mansion, only to find it empty .
There was silence, complete and utter silence between the family
No one thought to say a word, they knew that it was pointless

" dad , I need you to help me master the chidori" Sarada s voice said breaking the suffocation silence

"Why?"

Came Sasuke s reply

"I need to win our fight tomorrow, to bring Sayuki back"
The desperation in her voice was what convinced Sasuke , " okay "

The determination only grew stronger in her eyes

'No matter I will win'

The arena roared with applause
Of the upcoming matches , nothing special had happened to get them this pumped up, but they awaited a match that was sure to be imprinted in their brains forever
Sayuki vs Sarada

Most people voted for Sarada but some (fan boys)  said Sayuki would win.

"Alright the match you have all been waiting for, Sayuki uchiha vs Sarada uchi-" before the commentator could finish Shino came down and whispered in his ear

"Ah change of plans folks , looks like Sayuki is not present at the moment and so their fight will be move to the end of the exams"

He announced, earning a herd of boos in the process
