Cier Journeys: Path Of Corruption

Chap 3: The Magdurus Pass.

Jasper steps off the ship and cracks his back hard and roughly.

"Bwwagh, i'm never going by ship, or boat. EVER AGAIN." Jasper complained.

"Blegh.. sounds fine by me, i'm also NEVER. EVER GOING BY SEA EVER AGAIN..." Flif vomited.

"Huff..aah..come on, that was fun guys!" Helios cheerfully said as he laughed, he was still exhausted after that trip.

"No, you're lying, and you know that." Jasper pointed at Helios' face.

Flif took out a map, sitting down at the docks as he showed the map to Jasper and Helios, pointing at where they need to go. "So to get to Bahp town, we have to go through here and there and.. AGGGH ITS GONNA BE A LONG TRIP."

"It aint easy, you know that." Jasper frowned.

"How about staying somewhere overnight and rest for a while, like..like a village or a town, something." Helios suggested, both Flif and Jasper nodded in agreement as they are all very exhausted and had no energy left and wouldnt skip an opportunity to rest.

"I dont even feel anything much and i'm pretty sure i'm tired, is that enough for an answer?" Jasper sighed and puts on his bag, he walks forward lazily.

"Lets just go, somewhere random with some normies that could let us sleep on their beds overnight.." Jasper pulled Flif by the scraf as Helios followed behind.

As they made their way across the Magdurus Pass, they saw somebody..another stickman. This one looks different from them, while they are just travelers with low armor and fight with their base strength then the one in front of them is armed with metallic parts and some guns. It seems like he shot down a few robots. Jasper saw the guy and chuckled, he turned around and offered the two something.

"Hey, another weird looking robot dude. Wanna pick on him?" He said chuckling

"No! Thats enough for a day!" Flif stopped him.

"Yeah..not a good idea, Jasper." Helios agreed.

"Ya'll boring, watch me." Jasper just came over quietly, he broke a branch and snapped it in pieces, throwing it at the guy.

"Ow, hey. Stop that." He said. Jasper continued throwing as he giggled.

"The name's Jasper. Spare me some money and i'll stop."

"Green Hornet. And i dont need to give you anything." Green Hornet said coldly. Jasper continued throwing branch pieces annoyingly.

Green Hornet pulled out a little bead, he grits his teeth in annoyance.
"I repeat, stop now."

"No, give me money." Jasper continued..you know what he's doing.

"Thats it!" Green Hornet threw the bead, it was made from hard metal. Jasper's fragile flesh was torn apart but then it reattached.

Helios just backed up, while Flif wanted to stop them.
"My turn!" Jasper spawned his dagger and threw it, the dagger raised Green Hornet's guard as it looks very suspicious and couldn't simply be a usual dagger. Green Hornet jumped to the other side to avoid it and pulls out an injector, he injects something into him, his adrenaline is now rushing and he is able to perform better. He jumps forward and launches a forceful punch on Jasper's face.

"Hah!" Jasper opened up wide and took the punch directly, he was knocked back but looked up at Green Hornet, he needed that punch to put himself in combat mode.

"Hey thanks." Jasper's BloodSucker gauntlets appeared on his fists once again. Green Hornet didnt let him take the chance, he attacks Jasper with a second strike but Jasper was quick enough to block it.

"Grr!" Flif grunted. Right that moment he threw Jasper up in the air with all his might and punched Green Hornet in the face. The two of then werent going to cut it out so easily, Jasper used the throw as his advantage to throw daggers from multiple angles down at Green Hornet. Flif made an energy shield to stop the daggers, however he was rushing and forgot that Jasper uses a sort of anti magic called Reversed Energy.

"Oh dang it!" It was too late to realize that.

The daggers made contact with the shield and took just a few of them to drain out the energy put into the shield and completely breaks it. Any projectile made of mana or energy making contact with Jasper's Reversed Magic will break very easily, this shield is no exception. The dagges goes through and one sliced on Flif's shoulder.

Green Hornet steps back and pulls out his gun, preparing for the worst. Unlike Jasper, Green Hornet is just tired and not completely unhinged from any sort of drug when Jasper is always on the effects of Corrupted Rice.

"We dont need to do this, just leave.."

Green Hornet stood still as he awaits a response to Jasper, from just the outside look Jasper doesnt seem like a good person at all and just when Green Hornet was about to pull the trigger he gets the most suprising response.

"Fine, we're not that free anyway. But next time i see you..i'll kill you." Jasper giggled evily.

Green Hornet lowered his gun and sighed in relief.

"We'll see about that!" He spoke as he took out his phone and messages someone and in an instant, a flying machine that looks sort of like a helicopter showed up and takes Green Hornet away.

Helios looked at them and scratched his head.

"Are you done??"

"Uhm yeah!" Flif replied.

Flif sat next to Helios behind a boulder and started to question the identity of Green Hornet.

"Is he an Aetherian? Or at least an Aether soldier?" Flif looked at Helios whole Jasper is just biting on his own arm for fun.

Helios tapped on his chins a few times.
"High possibility.."

Luck finally smiled to them when not long after that they found a small town with a population of around a hundred or less. They rent a small room to sleep overnight, that night they were too tired to even consume anything...except for Jasper, he doesnt need to eat, he just likes to but he is no exception as they are all tired and went to sleep early.

The next morning came, Flif already gone outside and walked around. Jasper is still in bed and Helios just got up.

"Guuaaah! Refreshing.. I'll go outside to see if there's something worth seeing, are you just gonna lay there, Jasper?" Helios asked Jasper even when he knows that Jasper probably wont care.

"Yeah.." Jasper said.

"Alright, i'll go outside, you look after the room yeah?" Helios opened the door and was about to go.

"Whatever." Jasper replied as he went back to sleep.

Helios made his way out of the tiny house, humming a cheerful tone as he happily walks through the streets. The little town was quite cute and he sees people trading and speaking everywhere. Helios just smiled to himself being happy for the town.

Peace wont last for long though.. from afar, something keeps its eyes on Helios. It looks at his arms, Helios is a crimson stickman but the colors of his hands from his elbow down to his fingers slowly fade to black.

                          "Hm, interesting."
