Cier Journeys: Path Of Corruption

Chap 11: Separated.

The three of them were surrounded by Imitator bots that looks exactly like Silvie and Afrox, but here's the thing.. the imitator bots didnt use guns or anything like that, they use exactly what powers Silvie and Afrox have. 

"Give me a break.." Jasper sighed. 

So the three of them had to face the imitator bots, they weren't real humans so they break very easily, but they kept on coming in large numbers.

"Overheat!" Helios heated himself up and moved around with incredible speed, attacking robots left and right. The three tried all they could to fend off the robots but they were too outnumbered. 

Jasper sighed as he summoned his Bloodsucker Gauntlets. "Time for an upgrade! Crimson Scratchers!" The bloodsucker gauntlets grew a bit larger and claws came out of them, with this Jasper could deal alot more damage, so he ran forward and destroyed any imitator bots in his way. 

"LETS MOVE, COME ON!" Helios pulled Flif with him, they all ran into the forest where Silvie was captured. Helios went ahead because he was the last one to see where they took Silvie.

"Uhhh,somewhere around here! I think they stopped here and disappeared after a tree or something!" 

Helios looked around and was trying to figure out what to do but then Jasper shouts at him as he runs forward with a bunch of red daggers.

"COMING THROUGH, BACK UP!"

Jasper throws the daggers everywhere, they bounce from place to place and one hit something that sounds like metal. Jasper came over and pushes out a bush revealing a metal door. 

"Thats it!" He uses his Crimson Scratchers and slams on the door, forcing it open as the three of them came through it, indeed there was a large base inside. 

"Man, the worst thing you could do is not make a hole on the door but just smack it open." Flif said. 

"No time for manners, stop being a snail and lets move." Jasper walked forward but then Helios stopped them two. 

"Wait, i hear something-" Helios didnt get to finish his sentence when he noticed that the imitator bots in there already noticed him. 

"Permission to engage?" An imitator bot contacted with who seems to be their commander through the radio attached to their necks. "Do it." The person through the radio spoke as the imitator bots rushed to the three and started spraying bullets at them from their assault rifles. 

"GET BEHIND ME!" Jasper pushed the two of them back as he took the bullets. Flif spawned a sniper and starts loading in bullets, as soon as he was done he jumped to the other side of the hall and shot the bots down, once they changed their target to Flif then Helios came in and smashed their heads out. 

"LETS MOVE!" Helios shouted as the three of them nodded and ran deeper into the base. As they went deeper, more imitator bots have already blocked their way. This time they're not just normal imitator bots, they are imitators of Afrox and Silvie and they copy the same abilities the original ones have. 

"THATS NOT THEM! MORE IMITATOR BOTS!" Jasper said. The bots in the front row starts charging forward with melee weapons and the ones behind uses copied ranged weapons that Afrox owns. 

They were still not match for the three as they continued with the strategy which involves staying behind Jasper and attacking when they get close. Knowing that they were in disadvantage, the bots were demanded to self destruct. 

"Ahh! They're gonna explode!" Helios said as he and Flif hid behind Jasper again. 
The imitator bots explodes, the explosion was big and the two managed to stay safe but half of Jasper's body was blasted back. 

"Being a meat shield is tiring sometimes." He sighed, Flif came over and picked him up and brought him back to his other piece. 

"You know there's nothing worse than being an idiot of another idiot, right?" Flif chuckled. 

"I can reattach my limbs, i could live through an explosion but you cant." Jasper reattached his body and was about to continue but then Flif stepped ahead and stopped him. 

"Can i borrow those two things i gave you guys, the crystal and the bracelet?" Flif asked. 

The two threw him the bracelet and the crystal, after getting them Flif chuckled. 

"Now, run out of here." Flif said. 

"What do you mean?" Helios asked in pure confusion, why would they run when they're in a middle of a rescuing mission. 

"You dont know what's ahead, what are you gonna do?!" Jasper says angrily. 

"Just get out of here, please!" Flif says as he got a bit teary-eyed, Jasper was pissed at that reckless attitude and grabs Helios. 

"W-Wait Jasper!?" Helios said, still confused. 

"If you die alone, dont tell me i didnt warn you!" Jasper flew out of the facility while still holding Helios. 

Flif turned himself red from head to toe, he began screaming and charging forward as he hears the imitator bots coming his way. The crystal is now attached to his scarf and the bracelet turned into a double bladed sword. As he made his way deeper into the facility he broke through the imitator bots easily and hurriedly. 

"Outta my way!" Flif soon found the entrace to the control room, inside were high level imitator bots but they were soon defeated, the boss stood up from his chair as he frowned. 

"How did you get here? Ugh, you cant kill me anyway!" He pushes a button which lifts the whole control room up and made it a literal battleship, it flew up and flies away. Flif was pushed off by some other imitator bots. As he fell down his time in the new form has ran out... it was first Flif's intention to blow the place up but now he could hear the alarm bell ringing and the speaker starting to count down, Flif had roughly a minute and a half to rush out of the facility. 

"Well, sometimes Jasper is right, you just gotta find the right time to NIGEERRUNNDAAAYOO!" Flif turned around and ran with all he got, Feat came out flying around laughing nonstop because the sound of the speaker and the alarm is too loud for him to handle. 

"Heeheehaahahahaaahoohooheehaheaheaheaaaa, happy new year, happy new year!" Feat laughed uncontrollably. 

"Calm down, Feat!" From below Flif could hear something being dropped down slowly, now he has to deal with both a rocket being dropped down right at the facility and the bomb inside it about to blow itself up. 

"Damn it! Coey, Rinnako. Stop the rocket! Ellie, Dytrow, locate Afrox and Silvie and lead them out of here! LETS GO, WE'RE GONNA DIE IF WE DONT HURRY!!!" His Cierious fairies scattered and did their job. 

Outside, another batteship rises up from the ground. Its known as the Nwerksgalv, it starts chasing the facility's battleship and attacks it, however the reason why is unknown and perhaps they have conflict with eachother. 

"We made it!" Flif laughed as he was nearly out of the facility but the bomb exploded and the insides of the facility is being blown up, Flif jumped out as he was blasted out of the facility. Flif feels as if he was dead, but that wasnt all he has to go through, Flif runs with all he got once again to get out of the range from the rocket, luckily he managed to make it out and Afrox and Silvie were safe as well, he found them both and led them back to Bahp town. 

After a long walk home, Flif was exhausted and worried about Helios and Jasper. Afrox and Silvie came along to rest as well. 

"Helios, Jasper. I'm hom-" As he walked in, he expected them both to be inside but.. they weren't, all their stuff were gone along with Flif's Cierious dictionary.. he looked down disappointed but had to lay down to rest. 

"Hey, Afrox. Dont tell me you're an imitator as well and the real ones didnt survive that." Flif pointed Afrox while he lays down on the couch tired. 

"What do you mean i'm an imitator, i'm not i swear." Afrox answered honestly. 

"Where's the..other one?" Flif asked. 

Silvie then came inside, tired and injured as well. Flif sighed and takes out a few painkillers giving it to Silvie. 

"Uhmm.. thank you, good..guy?" Silvie thanked him nervously, turns out the Silvie and Afrox they met before were..imitators the whole time and the real one had no idea who Flif, Helios and Jasper were. 

"I dont think that suits me, but thank you anyway. Now.. where's Jasper? He carried Helios and ran off.." Flif scratched his head. 

"Jasper who?" Afrox asked, indeed.. they had no idea who the three of them are. Flif facepalmed in disappointment as he realizes what is happening. 

"Ohhh nooo..." Flif groaned. 

The next morning. 

Flif woke up, he expected Jasper and Helios to come back.. but they didnt, Flif is worried, perhaps they went off ahead without him? 

Flif then packed up his things, paid for the rent of the room and continues with his journey by himself. 

"I will have to handle things on my own for a while, goodbye friends." Silvie and Afrox went on their way and Flif sets off to head to Raitera forest. Will our men meet once again? Perhaps, but for now they are separated.
