I glanced up to the huge building, a school titled "hopes peak academy", getting accepted into this school was just an delusional dream, but here I am...

my lips curled into a delighted smile, my eyes glistening with excitement, still not believing I could get in this school with just knowledge from reading certain books

letting out a soft sigh as i looked back to see my mother's figure fading in the distance

'so.. this is reality, right? it's too good to be true...' I thought, as I slowly approached closer to the entrance, my soft footsteps and quick heartbeat were the only sounds that echoed in my ears

but as I took another step between the gates..

it all went pitch black, like a blackout that'll never end.

my eyes fluttered, feeling cold and numb, I grunted slightly, the feeling was displeasing

successfully opening my eyes, I sat up on the ground, looking around to only find a door in a dead end, shit, seems like i got kidnapped or something.. I glanced back at the door, absolutely confused and slightly panicking from the lack of context of this

'a door...? this is a weird situation...'

i inspected the pitched black walls, finding nothing, no clues, no hints that I can find

'what the fuck is happening...?'

starting to freak out from this, I took a deep breath, wanting to keep my composure, I glanced right back to the door, slowly approaching it, considering there will be possibilities of danger behind that door, it made me feel reluctant.

but I rather feel reluctant than confused, I'm opening it.

I slowly turned the doorknob out of frustration, honestly expecting a dangerous situation, but instead, it revealed 15 high school students with confusion, panic, and suprised looks painted on their faces

their eyes were focused onto the class before I made my entrance, immediately their eyes turned to me, startled from another arrival, they all looked at me with different kinds of reactions

but, calming down as soon as they saw my small figure (if you're tall, you may erase the "small")

'what the.... are these my classmates? they look odd...' I thought to myself, slightly weirded out from their expressions and appearances

i raised a brow while staring back at everyone, the more they looked confused, the more I'm also getting concerned

"a-are you the s-s-sixteenth student...?" a girl with messy hair stuttered out, her hair was cut in a messy way, a few strands of hair was short and the rest were long, her eyes glancing at me with panic

"how am I supposed to know?" i mumbled back, raising a brow, I'm more confused when they didn't say anything about this situation

i seriously need an explanation because what the actual fuck is going on...

"hmmph... it looks like we're missing someone..." a guy wearing a white coat grumbled, adjusting his glasses as he glanced at me with a disapproval expression

"and how did you know about that? you're the teacher or something ?" a short girl with blonde short ponytails said, looking at the blonde guy with a bitter expression

the guy simply ignored the girl's snarky remark and glanced at the door with curiosity, his hand on his chin while he's trying to figure out something

i coincidentally glanced at the white cloudy haired man, locking eyes with him, shit. i did eye contact.
